Awful stuff
1This stuff is vile, it doesn’t sink into the skin and flakes regardless of how much you apply. It also make makeup flake regardless of how long you wait until applying. Would not recommend at all.Â

Nothing like the photo!
2I’ve bought another brand of whipped facial cream before and loved the light feel of it. When I opened this jar is looked more like scrambled egg than the light mouse in the photo. I complained to No 7 and requested a replacement which looked exactly the same! It has a slightly unpleasant smell too which I’ll have to get used to as I have two jars to get through and am not waisting them!

Doesn't blend with makeup
2Agree with some of the other reviews. This whipped cream doesn't sink into the skin well at all and then fails to blend with make-up. It peels off even with the lightest application of foundation. I use a lot of No.7 products but haven't got on well with this one.

Disappointed
1Really wanted to like this cream but it is terrible on my skin. It seems to rub off as you are applying it and the smell is really unpleasant. It almost feels like you are wearing a peel off face mask. You absolutely can’t wear this under make up. Disappointed.Â

Terrible
1This is probably the worst skin care cream I have ever bought. The smell of the cream is unpleasant to start with when you open the pot which is off-putting. The cream is terrible to use underneath make-up. when applying foundation on top, it seems to pull off the cream and foundation and your face gets covered in white bobbly bits. Really dreadful purchase . A waste of money because the cream is so un-usable.Â

Lovely texture

Light-weight and whipped
4Boots.com review: This is a very light and whipped moisturiser and my skin really seems to like it, it’s softer and looks more even. However, there is a scent to it that more sensitive skins may not like. I think it smells a bit like Christmas!

Fantastically effective
5Boots.com review: This cream has a super light, whipped mousse texture. It has a mild scent, which was overpowering or off putting which is very important to me with facial products. I felt like it truly hydrated my skin (combination), while the addition of niacinamide meant it actively works to refine the skin. This is my go-to moisturiser when my skin can't decide what it wants! Definitely a staple for the dressing table.
