Bring back the Beautiful range
1I went to buy my usual Beautiful moisturiser and was shocked that Boots no longer do it. The assistant recommended this Water Surge Gel Cream and I have tried it for a few days and basically it is not a patch on the Beautiful range. It has left my face dull looking and dry. It also makes your face feel tacky. Basically do not buy this product!

Horrible
1You silly company, you have stopped No 7 Beautiful and replaced it with this. Its horrible to put on, really greasy to start then dries out the skin so badly that I suffered with dry itchy skin. Had to take it back. I have been using No7 for ever, tried the entire range over the years and settled on the best one for me No 7 beautiful. What were you thinking of, discontinuing it ? This HydraLuminous doesn't even have SPF. Have to buy that separately now. All to do with money. Its a £1 dearer and to get the SPF you have to spend more. You must think we are stupid

Great cream! Saved my skin!
5I bought this and the night cream and couldn't be happier. I used to have dry, flaky skin, that looked dreadful when I applied make-up, but this cream has helped so much. I no longer have flaky make-up face! Will definitely be re-purchashing.

Gave me spots
1I liked the light weight texture of this cream and the way it absorbed quickly into my skin. Unfortunately, I broke out in a number of spots for the first time since my teenage years. Luckily, I had taken some in a tester pot to try before I opened my first pot and returned all three for a refund.

Perfect for me
5I know there’s a lot of negative reviews but this is just right for me. I never used moisturiser before the No7 girl suggested this and I’ve never had better skin, I’m only 23 so I might be biased

Made me break out
1Got a no. 7 gift set for christmas and loved it. Found the moisturizers too expensive but this one was reasonable so gave it a go. It has made my skin TERRIBLE. Every time I put it on I wake up with little spots all over my cheeks. Didn't click that this was the cause until I used it again last night and broke out. Don't waste your money!

Just don't
1Bought this as a change for my regular No7 cream and it's dried my skin out so much and caused red blotches on my cheeks that burn. Worse cream I've ever used.

Just awful
1Leaves skin feeling very dry. Quite upset the woman at the No7 counter reccomended this as a sub for my usual No7 moisturiser as its been discontinued. The gel feels like it evaporates rather than being absorbed and skin feels too dry really quickly. Wouldn't recommend whatsoever and not happy as these products are so expensive as it is.

Brought me out in spots
1I have combination skin and I always use an oil-free moisturiser to help prevent break outs. I used this for a couple of weeks and it felt lovely on my skin but it sadly brought me out in lots of spots on my face. I think the oil-free formula made my skin over produce sebum, which resulted in lots of spots. I've gone back to a different brand of oil-free moisturiser with salicylic acid and my skin prefers this. I would not buy this product again.

Perfect for oily skin
5I bought this along with the serum & night cream, I’m 48 have combination skin & my t zone gets so oily through the day. I really like this gel cream, it absorbs really well, leaves my skin looking fresh & smooth, mattified but hydrated. Perfect under foundation & great during the warm weather. I’ll carry on using this, that’s amazing for me because I’m so fussy & haven’t liked No7 skincare in the past.
