Initial Review - Just started using it
4Boots.com review I have been using this for just under a week for the cooling effect only and thought an initial review would be good. There are some really good features about this product some that take a little getting used to and some that you need to be aware of.Good Features:- It really does give a cooling effect once you get it situated correctly on your arm it surprised me that it does cool me down given I have bad hot flushes- Its really easy to download the app and connect the bracelet to it- The app has some good features including: different programs (3 minute Hot Flash Relief 10 min cold drink and overnight cooling) the ability to turn down or switch off the light (very useful overnight) and tracking of all your sessions.- The bracelet comes with a small disk like charger which is really easy to use and clear when the charging has finished (green light stops flashing). Charges quite quickly too. Getting used to:- The bracelet is quite big and feels heavy to me but I have not worn a watch for 30 years so it could just be me getting used to it. - The bracelet does need to be quite snug to provide the cooling effect. However I have been wearing this all night for the last few nights without any issues. Be aware of:- The battery life is good but the bracelet itself doesn't have the ability to show you what level it is at. This is available on the app. If you want to run the overnight program that runs for 7 8 or 9 hours you need to make sure it has a high charge level at the start of the night. - The light is bright so switching this to 'Discreet' will mean it does not continuously glow all night which I imagine helps the battery life too. Overall I am going to continue to use this and see how it helps my hot flushes. I am also keen to see how the warming effect works once we get to the colder months.

4Boots.com review The bracelet has been helpful in the few weeks that I have been using it I have been using it on high for 10 minutes on a cycle and it does provide instant relief. I have used it in the evening throughout the night but I have not found it easy to wear I think its because I never wear watches rings etc. The only problem I have had in the current weather is a sweat rash under the strap. I am happy to continue to see if things get better over time and I will possible be able to regulate my hot flushes.

very disappointed
1Boots.com review I bought the product after reviews on social Media and was expecting the same. The product is pretty looking and feels luxurious and is easy to use. I charged the product to 100% when I first got it. I then downloaded the app to my iPhone 13 and sync'd them. I placed the product on my wrist as directed and the cooling cycle. I felt a very faint cold spot for a few seconds but it didn't have any effect or making me feel cooler. I also noticed that the app randomly disconnected to the product. Which is annoying because other Bluetooth devices I have once connect rarely fail particularly mid use. I persisted and used varying cooling cycles and on the maximum cool setting. However I am unable to see where the benefit it that is worth the cost of the product. I gave it one last try. I recharged it to 100% and used the sleep mode to feel cool all night. I didn't feel any different whilst falling asleep around 1030pm but the product was on 20% around 6am. All in all battery life isn't great. I'm not sure how much you need to concentrate to imagine it you can actually feel being cool. For 300GBP this is a lot of money for an item that for me doesn't do a lot.

What hot flushes ..
5Boots.com review I have been wearing this product for about 4 weeks now and I have to say I was very sceptical of it at first. It didn't take long to get used to the settings on the app and set them to the correct temp for my needs. The cool setting is amazing when I get a hot flush and the warm setting is just as amazing when I am cold. The app is great too with so much information on it.

5Boots.com review To begin with during the first week of wearing this bracelet I wasn't sure. It felt nice and was cooling but I wasn't blown away. So after the first week I went back to the instructions and the app and found that when I moved the bracelet to sit more on my pulse point on my wrist it was a game changer. At first I didn't see how this little gadget would help with my hot flushes but now that I've been wearing it for four weeks it is brilliant. When I feel a hot flush starting I instantly press the 3 minute relief button and initially my mind focusses on the cold on my wrist then before you know it the 3 minutes is up and your hot flush has gone. It's wonderful. The more I've worn it the better it's got. I also suffer from the cold in the evenings and I am cold to the bone not even putting the heating on helps. No matter what time in the evening the only action I can take is to go to bed to get warm. This has wasted many evenings. I have found the warming button on this device has given me my evenings back there is a heat control on the app and I've had to turn the heat down already as it's too hot for me. It really warms you I don't know how it does it it's just a bit of magic. Although I am on HRT I haven't been able to get the balance of hormones right yet so I have found this bracelet a constant relief for my temperature changes which were making my life miserable. I know this watch is expensive and I was lucky enough to have it for free and having trialled it now for 4 weeks if I knew what I know now I would definitely purchase it.

This has changed my life
5Boots.com review I was a bit sceptical about this product and concerned about how expensive it was but I can honestly say that it has been one of the best things that I have bought. I was having extreme hot flushes and these are now under control. You need to find the right spot on your arm to ensure that you get the best impact. It is quite bulky and looks as though you are wearing 2 watches but this is definitely worth putting up with. Would thoroughly recommend this

Boots.com review I’ve had my Embr bracelet all about 5 minutes & this is just my initial thoughtsvery excited to get it charged & up & runningcharging was easy & putting the bracelet on & connecting & using the app.It’s cold so I put it on 30 minute timer & could choose between heat 1 to 5 so I put it into gear level 5After a few minutes I hurriedly disconnected it from my wrist I have a red burn markI reconnected but to no 3 & it was comfortable but my arms were not covered & I felt cold.I warmed up a can of Heinz chicken soup without wearing the bracelet & have felt comfortable & warm since.I’ve not looked at the science to this bracelet yet but was thinking what if it worked like a thermostat warming or cooling your blood from your wrist & it then flowing round your body like a boiler that works your central heating.My internet connection was intermittent & I can’t google any information yet & I got a fright as a message came up saying my password on my Santander bank acct had been compromised but couldn’t even log in I should worry with 7 pence in the acct.So sorry folks I can’t really give a fair review till it’s running properly & I can get the instructions.

Fantastic
5Boots.com review Really impressed. I get hot and cold very easily and although this is no miracle I've been wearing it for about a year and I notice that the little impact it does have has actually made a really positive impact in my life. Sometimes when I'm really cold and people say put a jumper on I find I can't warm myself up but a blast of the hot setting really helps. And when I'm randomly really hot like when you first get on the tube the cold setting gets me back to normal. I think the mixed reviews are probably regarding people's expectations of this little device! I would say it would actually be quite helpful if for the next version they put a little clock on it as well because you can't wear a watch at the same time. Also if you use the cold setting many times in a row then the outside will get warm just like a fridge so you have to keep that in mind. It's really worth trying if you get hot and cold easily. But curb expectations of what it will do as it's not like having a fan or sitting under an electric blanket it's just a little nudge to get your body back to normal to stop it over reacting to temperature changes.
