Very wet and messy
1Boots.com review I really hoped that this mascara would live up to the description but was very disappointed. It is really wet and I had to have a cotton bud at hand to wipe the smudges that even blinking caused. You have to wipe so much off the brush before you can use it that the tube gets covered in it and then so do your hands. Don’t even think about using a fixer spray until you’re sure it has well and truly dried, or you end up with even more drips and smudges. Complete waste of money.

It doesn’t smudge
4Boots.com review It's the holy grail for staying power but it has to dry properly first. Try not to blink or close your eyes for a minute and you're set for the rest of the day. But I know some consumers of this product don’t like this fact about the mascara. I do believe that my eyelashes are better for using it though and I don’t even wear it every day. It also needs an oily face cleanser to remove it properly. It’s not as simple as the directions suggest.

worst mascara ever!
1Boots.com review I bought this mascara a month ago, it has ruined my eyelashes , they are now brittle and broken, would not recommend this product. Overpriced and crap!!!! Gutted .....

Great Mascara
5Boots.com review When I first started to use this mascara I got in a bit if a mess with it. I don’t know if they have changed it a bit but the last couple I have bought have been great. It may be that I have got used to using it. I use the brown/black one and I was getting a bit worried as it had been out of stock for ages, but a couple of weeks ago I saw that it was back in stock and ordered some straight away.

Does exactly what it promises
5Boots.com review I've been using Age Defying Mascara by No 7 for around 6-8 months now and I love it. It's my everyday mascara for work and home. I'm 45 and I noticed last year my lashes were thinning and seemed shorter than when I was younger. (I switched to this product from Million Lashes mascara. I also use the No 7 Lash Serum at night.) In the last few months my lashes have noticeably thickened up and are longer than they have ever been. So I'm delighted. This mascara is quite gloopy on the brush, so I wipe excess product off the brush, into the neck of the bottle, before applying. It took a couple of weeks to get the knack for applying it well, but once I got used to it, it was no problem. I was prepared to stick with it as it's the only mascara I have found with lash-care properties and no silicones in the ingredients. I wear it all day at work, with two coats on upper and lower lashes and it does not flake or smudge at all. It washes off easily at night with my regular face wash. All in all, I'm devoted to it now. My only criticism is that I prefer the brown/black option (as I'm a red head with fair skin) but find it's often out of stock (though regular black is nearly always available.)

5Boots.com review Gives a really good soft build on the lashes. They look fuller and natural. There was no breakage or bits from wearing the product all day. Really pleased with my purchase.

Nothing special about this mascara
2Boots.com review I bought this as I am 62 and could do with anything that helps defy the ageing process. It is very runny, quite messy and leaves smudges on my cheeks. Not good. I usually use a separate serum and ordinary mascara and will go back to doing this.

5Boots.com review A friend gifted me this mascara as she couldn't get on with it. I have short, sparse lashes these days so claggy mascaras just emphasise the problem. However I'm getting on okay with this one by using a thinner brush from another brand. I swipe the brush across the other taking very little mascara. No waste. Problem solved.

Too claggy
2Boots.com review I have always used the Intense Volume mascara to date but decided to give this a try instead but I find it too claggy. Far too much comes out on the brush (for my liking) and I end up having to dispel it off by wiping it against the inside of the neck of the tube. It then going on okay-ish but when I'm taking it off at night I need to use loads of cotton pads soaked in make up remover to get it all off as just so much seems to have been applied to my lashes regardless of me trying to apply less. and even then there still seems to be some when i re-do my eyes in the morning. I'll be going back to my Intense Volume and I'm hoping the formula hasn't changed as seems to be the case with some of the other No7 mascaras
