Has the formula changed?
1Boots.com review I've been using the mascara in the gold packaging for years and bought a new tube thinking it was the same formula but it has definitely changed. Now it's very flakey, doesn't last long and is difficult to remove. It's certainly not the no7 tubing mascara that I'm used to. Very disappointed.

no mess, no panda eyes
5Boots.com review I've used the stay perfect mascara for years, but now ive tried the ultra version I'm sticking with this. It goes on easily and stays there until I decide to remove it. No mess ,no smudging, no panda eyes. It only needs one coat and really accentuates my lashes.

Do not buy
1Boots.com review This is awful - I had to throw it away straight away as was so clumpy and dry. Have use the normal Stay Perfect for years which is so much better. I'm annoyed as was a waste of money and no longer have the receipt.

Worst mascara ever.
1Boots.com review I bought this mascara by mistake instead of Stay Perfect which I have been using for years. This however is the worst mascara I have ever used, it's lumpy and I find it difficult to apply as it all sticks to the brush.

Stay Perfect Ultra Mascara AWFUL
1Boots.com review I picked this up by mistake instead of my usual Stay Perfect Mascara Absolutely awful, clumpy, bitty, horrid brush Have now had to order my usual one as cannot cope with bits of mascara coming off and bitty eyelashes So annoying as I always get two as I don’t live very close to a Boots. So have totally waste money

Prevents smudging
5Boots.com review This is the only mascara that prevents smudging. I agree with some of the reviews that it doesn’t provide much volume. I think the description is wrong. I use a different mascara for volume and then this ‘tubing’ mascara to cement it in place. It is simply wonderful when used for this. Please don’t ever stop making it, just change the description as it might mislead.

Very very disappointed
1Boots.com review I wish that I had read the reviews before wasting my money. I have also used no7 mascaras and have been really happy with them. My usual one(360) wasn’t available so I went for the stay perfectly ultra, thinking that it would be S good or even better. It’s taken 4 coats to even see it and my curly lashes look straight. It’s dries out as you’re applying it so just made lashes look straight, clogged and shorter than without any mascara. It was apparent from the first strokes that this was not good at all. I rarely write reviews but this product made me feel like I had totally wasted my money S I wil now have to buy another one.

Don’t use it
1Boots.com review Honestly the worst mascara I’ve ever used. I bought it to add volume but it’s doesn’t do that. I’ve always had lovely long eyelashes but not anymore because it’s broken all of them. The mascara comes off in clumps and has taken 1/2 the length of my eyelashes with it

What's gone wrong here?
1Boots.com review I'd bought and used a couple of tubes of this mascara in the gold packaging and got on ok with it (I work outdoors in all weathers and need the stuff to stay put). Along comes the new packaging and suddenly the mascara is rubbish! It's dry and lumpy and flakes off everywhere. It's not water resistant as it used to be, either. How you manage to make a tubing mascara that won't go on or stay on I really don't know. The original version is the same, too. There are too many similar reviews here for Boots to claim that 'nothing has changed'. Something has, whether by accident or design and customers will look for a brand they can trust.

Won’t be buying again
1Boots.com review Not good - I’ve been using this for probably about 5 months just to try and use it up and I won’t ever buy it again. Whilst yes, there is volume, little black bits from it constantly fall off my eyelashes and I’ve got them in my eyes all the time. It’s awful. It’s also weirdly ridiculously hard to get off - eye makeup remover barely gets it off without yanking at your lashes. Don’t recommend.
