Never taken an allergic reaction before
2I have never ever taken an allergic reaction to make up ever and I've used some dodgy stuff. My eyes are stinging so much! Looks alright though haha

From best in class to worst! Far too hard!
1I have used the green metallic eyes pencil for a couple of years now as I loved how soft and easy to apply it was. When I went into store recently to buy a new one the packaging had changed and the colour slightly too. I picked out the nearest colour to the one I had been using (camouflage) which is a greeny/gold colour. However when I tried it on my eyes it was sooooo hard! I couldn't get a line at all - complete opposite to how it used to be. I currently have a couple of the older ones in the drawer from when I had a £5 voucher but I don't know what I'll do after they run out. Please, please Boots look at all the reviews and bring back the softer formula!

Definitely some changes to this lovely eyeliner!!
2I have been using this eyeliner for several years, it is/was lovey and soft and glided on perfectly espeially on the top lid. When I purchased my most recent eyeliner I noticed it now had the addition of a 'smudger' on the other end of the pencil, something I would not use but the eyeliner looked the same in all other respects. It is not!! Like another reviewer has stated it drags on the skin when being applied, is not soft like it used to be and is now no use to me whatsoever. I hate it when this happens as now I have to search around to find an alternative!! Why don't companies stick to the products formulation and not change them if they sell well! Grrrrrrrr.

Camoflage eye pencil
1Well this product seems to be dividing the audience, doesn't it? I really like the greeny gold colour of the pencil, but it is really hard and doesn't glide on at all. In fact trying to use it feels perilously close to gouging your own eyes out! I haven't been able to use it at all. Other pencils from the range have been fine, the blue one's nice, so I don't know if the formulation changed or if there's a sub standard lot. Pity, as I said, the colour's nice.

Great product
5I bought this pencil as an impulse buy as I don't usually wear eyeliner ( too hard to apply ) but I am so glad I bought this, it is just so easy to apply and soft on your eyes, it doesn't drag the skin, and only light pressure is needed to achieve a great look, I always wear no7 thunder eyeshadow and this grey pencil goes perfectly

This product makes my eyes irritated and dries the skin around the eyes
1I bought this product and was very dissapointed. After applying the product the first time, my eyes watered signficantly, the color would not stay, and the pencil dried the skin around my eyes out. I am dissapointed in the product.

Good pencil but doesn't smudge
3Don't know why there is a sponge on the end of this - it does nothing! Not sure if it's just a rubbish sponge or if the pencil just doesn't smudge well. I got the green metallic pencil and the colour is good and it is easy to apply - quite soft and smooth. It lasts very well but as you can't smudge it very well, it gets fewer stars.

Hard to apply to the eyes
1When I first brought this eyeliner it was great, then they must of changed the ingredients as the last ones I have had to return as they were too hard to apply to the eyelid and the lovely softness that glided on as gone, wished no7 would go back to the soft ones, as I am going to go elsewhere

Camouflage metallic eyeliner
5Absolutely love this new product, the colour is more khaki mixed with gold (website shows it as a very different shade of green to what it really is so really is best to see them in a store before you buy). This super soft liner glides on over eye shadow easily & stays put for ages. Great for adding definition or creating a dramatic look. The sponge applicator makes it easy to blend, no more messy finger tips! I love this so much I am going to buy a lot of this shade in case it disappears next time No7 has a change.
