I've tried loads of waterproof mascaras over the years from the inexpensive to the expensive and this has to be the best one I've tried! I spent a week in Lanzarote and I only smudged it on the first day when I managed to get suncream on my eye lids by mistake. It stayed on every day, never smudged, flaked, rubbed off, or came off in the pool. I checked out the video first and you do only need to apply it once to the outer layer of the lashes. Unlike most waterproof mascaras it really did come off with warm water and cotton wool held on for 30 seconds and the mascara slid off with no panda eyes the next morning. Unlike some reviewers I didn't have to scrub my eyes to get it off, it didn't pull my lashes out and the coverage was great. I have even taken my make up off with a make up wipe and reapplied everything else and the mascara stayed put. What a brilliant product and thanks for making a brown/black mascara - I really don't like black mascara as I find it too harsh for my colouring. It does what it says on the tube - well done No 7! I've kept on using it since I came home as it has replaced my usual brand.

I was really impressed with this mascara. I tried a few waterproof mascaras over the summer and struggled to find one that didn't end up smudging or flaking on me and my oily eyelids. This didn't budge! It's now what I go to when I want a natural look or on a warm day.It goes on easily and gives a very natural effect to the lashes. I tried to build it up, but found a single coat worked better for me. (I think if you want a long or full or fluttery look then it won't be right for you.) Removal is really easy too, just a bit of water and cotton wool and it all comes off - no tugging or rubbing or oily eye make up removers needed!

I usually pay less for mascara but, this was recommended to me. I was a little sceptical about the size of the wand but, it seems to be ok. Not cloggy or too dark. Does not, give the appearance of, "panda eyes" thankfully, so overall I am pleased. Does not smudge at all. I have my doubts about how long it will last before it runs out; will have to wait & see. No 7 is a tried, trusted & tested brand so hopefully it will prove a long term, hit.

I have used this product for over a month and I found it has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages 1. It is smudge and humidity proof which is essential for me as I go to the gym. 2. It is long lasting. 3. The brush applicator enables you to brush and capture all your eyelashes. Disadvantages 1. It can be difficult to remove with a make up remover, so it is best if you wash it off. 2. I noticed that I lost a few eyelashes in the removal process, so you have to be very careful in massaging your facial wash into the eyes area.

Have been using this mascara for 2 months now and i really like it. It does what it say it does although my only comment would be that it does not add volume..... Going on holiday soon and a bit concerned that it will smudge/run due to the hot climate. Has anyone encountered any problems on holiday? I don't want to be swimming in a hot climate only to emerge from the pool looking like a panda!!

Have to admit I was a little sceptical of this mascara. Normally, I avoid waterproof mascaras completely because they can be so harsh on the lashes. But not this one. It's excellent and goes on so well and gives me a nice long lash effect. The big selling point is that it is removed easily with warm water. That's the bit that's baffling but, hey, it works!!

I bought the mascara because it is supposed to be water soluble and easy to remove. Not true! When I applied it to my eyelashes, I had 3 stiff clumps of lashes for each eye bound in cement. Trying to separate the lashes with my tweezers resulted in smearing the stuff all over my eyes. It doesn't come off by using water on a pad for 30 seconds (the directions on the mascara). So, I tried it again and the same thing. Being hopelessly optimistic, the next day I did the same thing. Now, I basically have no eyelashes and the mascara is in the garbage. It doesn't come off with water and it clumps your (remaining) eyelashes into a cement glob. It's not pretty..... Horrible product-don't waste your money!

I recently purchased this as an alternative to a waterproof mascara. I found it easy to apply and easy to remove. It maintains its coverage throughout the day though it does leave the lashes less fuller looking. Good product but, would buy again.

I have been using this mascara for the last couple of weeks. It is a good mascara but not the best one. It gives a natural volume and length. This won't give you false lash look. It lasts all day which is a plus and is not hard to remove. I would recommend it despite the above.

This product, as it claims to be, is reasonably effective as a waterproof mascara. However I have used better ones for a cheaper price, and it does tend to clump if more than one layer is applied. I like to use one coat of this over the top of another mascara. The wand shape is great, it doesn't allow too much product to gather on it and it evenly fans out the lashes. If you have very straight lashes I would suggest curling them first as the consistency is quite heavy and therefore pulls down the natural curl of the lashes anyway.
