I love the colour of this eye pencil (blue). It is easy to apply and lasts. However.... I agree with many of the other reviewers about the packaging. It is a pencil. You do have to sharpen it (often!) . Please Boots (No. 7) make this lovely pencil in packaging that doesn't need sharpening! It spoils what is other wise a great product.

Have been buying this eyeliner for ages and loved it, went in store to purchase new one to find had been changed, as other reviewer have said really drags on your shin. Won't buying it again. What a shame please bring back old version.

I love No 7 products. I use all the cleanser and moisturisers from head to toe. I use the face powder, the mascara and eye pencils. I think it is one of the best re-brands I have ever experienced, they really came back with a BANG! I was disappointed that No 7 no longer sell Amazing Eyes in Leaf, so tried Metallic Eyes Camouflage. I felt as if I was dragging and 2H pencil across my eye lid. I haven't kept the receipt as No7 is usually so good, so will be writing to Head Office. An explanation is definitely needed.

Was really pleased with this, especially the colour.......until it needed sharpening - wasted most of the pencil as it is virtually impossible to sharpen. Very disappointed.

I agree with all the comments about trying to sharpen this pencil and eventually put it in the bin which is a shame as I like the colours.

I bought this for my holiday and it is very expensive. It is a complete waste of money. It looks like it is a propelling pencil but it is not and the wood is far too hard for a sharpener. If you try the end jus breaks off each time. It lasted less than a week. I will take it back if I can find the receipt.

I bought the metallic blue and really love the colour. The pencil is very soft and glides on easily without dragging the eyelid. I don't think it lends itself to fine lining though as the point will not remain sharp. This was no problem for me as I prefer a softer, smudged line. I would say that the blending end just seemed to rub the product off again so I haven't bothered with it. I found I could sharpen the pencil reasonably easily but due to the softness of the point I imagine I will get through it quite quickly. Overall a nice product.

This eye pencil is great to use when it's brand new, but once it needs sharpening, the soft interior regularly breaks off inside the pencil sharpener or when being applied, and you're left with jagged wooden edges. I've persevered in the past and endlessly kept sharpening the lead until I finally end up a little bit of lead that's usable, but not any more! It's consigned to the bin and I won't be buying this product again.

Don't know why there is a sponge on the end of this - it does nothing! Not sure if it's just a rubbish sponge or if the pencil just doesn't smudge well. I got the green metallic pencil and the colour is good and it is easy to apply - quite soft and smooth. It lasts very well but as you can't smudge it very well, it gets fewer stars.

I have been using this product for yrs and usually buy two when on offer with coupon,I bought two through lockdownand spare one was kept in a drawer in my bed room,I noticed it had an unpleasant smell and never had this problem before I checked my spare one which had not been opened and this was the same,love the texture of liner but must agree with others it doesn't sharpen well and I use a no7 one to sharpen them!! Very disappointed and because of them becoming smelly won't use again.
