Was thrilled to find this product which went on well and stayed on. However after minimal use there is very little left of the pencil as it just keeps breaking off when I try to sharpen it again. An expensive mistake. Won't be buying it again.

Am I being really really dim? How can you sharpen this pencil? I've used it a handful of times and it has been fine, but there is now no nib left and the casing is plastic so cant be sharpened... tried all sorts of twisting but cant work it out. It cant be that Boots charge us £6.50 for a couple weeks (if that!) of eye lining, can it?

Good product but not as soft to apply as I would like.

These pencils are NOT soft & creamy like they used to be before they were updated to include the smudger end! They are difficult to blend as a result. Bring back the previous ones, they were perfect.

Always have used No.7 eyeliners (for at least 30 years) however this one is the poorest quality I have ever had. Firstly it is definitely not blue, secondly it does not go on the eyes very easily. Two of the top things in my book...colour and application! Definitely would not buy again

I wanted to try an eyeliner on my top lids but had never been able to get it quite right without dragging all of my eyelid. After speaking to a sales advisor in store, she recommended this one as it was easy to apply. I find this very easy to apply on both the top and the bottom. it stays put for the day and is excellent for beginners! It sharpens easily with a normal make up sharpener.

After visiting Boots t'other night for the points extravaganza, I thought I'd treat myself to yet more mek up. I saw these liners and immediately started looking for purple, brown n black. Considering the price of 6.50 each and being on 3for2, I decided on getting them. After browsing the xmas gifts I saw No7 gifts and kopped for a 5pc set eyeliners, exact same ones as what Ive just chosen. Priced at 16quid, BARGAIN !!! Would buy again & recommend, so easy to apply, creamy, smooth and the sponge is useful for blending for the smokey eyes look.

I love this No7 Metallic Eye Pencil because it is very soft and easy to apply. There is no dragging to the delicate skin and you can achieve a lovely smudged/smokey look. The purple shade is also very flattering for the more mature lady as it is less harsh.

I would and have recommended this product to other people. The pencil is soft and easy to appy. It gives great colour definition to the eye area which lasts all day.

Boots are you reading these customer feedback reports? We all seem to be saying the same! The new product is poor, bring back the 'old'! New is too hard. Looks like most of us will be looking for an alternative although most of us would much prefer to stay with no 7, but can't stand this new hard kohl pencil! & so until a softer version is on sale we will be looking for alternatives!
