Have been buying this eyeliner for ages and loved it, went in store to purchase new one to find had been changed, as other reviewer have said really drags on your shin. Won't buying it again. What a shame please bring back old version.

I have bought No 7 eyeliners before and found them to be fine, but recently purchased 2 eyeliners in Greeny turquoise (not sure of specific colour) and the Navy Blue and found that with both of them, more often than not they affect my eyes and not long after I have put them on, my eyes start to smart and water. Occasionally it does not happen, but generally it does. Having spoken to one of the Cosmestic ladies I know in Boots, she mentioned that the same thing had happened to her. I think that you may have changed the product and I now find that my eyes are sensitive to it, so probably would not purchase it again.

I bought this eye pencil on the 3 for 2 offer. Unfortunately I could not get any colour from pencil to eyelid, I don’t know what went wrong! The colour seemed shrunken inside the ‘wood’ coating, so I tried to sharpen with a cosmetic eye pencil sharpener – which just broke the pencil. A tribute to No7 and Boots in that they just replaced it with another and I chose the metallic blue which is so much better in terms of application. I think this must have been a bad batch?

I used to buy Urban Decay eye pencil and then changed to No 7 one as it was cheaper and it lasted longer. Since the pencil has been changed I have irritated eyes which stay watery for ages. I don't know what Boots have done but I will not buy this again. I also have to sharpen it every time as each time you use it just squashes down! It's awful!

bought by mistake but loved the way colour went on, but then, the pencil needed sharpening. pencil was way too soft, tried putting in the fridge first. have been advised by counter staff (who were very helpfu) to only sharpen the pencil with a no 7 sharpener. this is not displayed in store on online. Not impressed.

I love No 7 products. I use all the cleanser and moisturisers from head to toe. I use the face powder, the mascara and eye pencils. I think it is one of the best re-brands I have ever experienced, they really came back with a BANG! I was disappointed that No 7 no longer sell Amazing Eyes in Leaf, so tried Metallic Eyes Camouflage. I felt as if I was dragging and 2H pencil across my eye lid. I haven't kept the receipt as No7 is usually so good, so will be writing to Head Office. An explanation is definitely needed.

Have used this product for numerous years but since they changed the ingredients my eyes sting and water and end up bloodshot and unbearable. Would not recommend.

I have never ever taken an allergic reaction to make up ever and I've used some dodgy stuff. My eyes are stinging so much! Looks alright though haha

I have used the green metallic eyes pencil for a couple of years now as I loved how soft and easy to apply it was. When I went into store recently to buy a new one the packaging had changed and the colour slightly too. I picked out the nearest colour to the one I had been using (camouflage) which is a greeny/gold colour. However when I tried it on my eyes it was sooooo hard! I couldn't get a line at all - complete opposite to how it used to be. I currently have a couple of the older ones in the drawer from when I had a £5 voucher but I don't know what I'll do after they run out. Please, please Boots look at all the reviews and bring back the softer formula!

I have been using this eyeliner for several years, it is/was lovey and soft and glided on perfectly espeially on the top lid. When I purchased my most recent eyeliner I noticed it now had the addition of a 'smudger' on the other end of the pencil, something I would not use but the eyeliner looked the same in all other respects. It is not!! Like another reviewer has stated it drags on the skin when being applied, is not soft like it used to be and is now no use to me whatsoever. I hate it when this happens as now I have to search around to find an alternative!! Why don't companies stick to the products formulation and not change them if they sell well! Grrrrrrrr.
