When testing on my hand in the shop, the colour was good BUT it doesn't work on the eyes. Impossible to apply without making the eye really sore. Perhaps I have just purchased a "dud" but I won't be buying this product again which is a pity.

I honestly love the idea of this, but I don't think they managed to pull it off, and with there being so many better and cheaper products, I don't feel there is any point in this being something that should still be sold.

Hi, Ordered 3 different colours online, Great colour, great application,great stay in power, alls good right? Nope. When it came to sharpening it broke so many times, 3/4 of the cost is in sharpening bits in the bin, I even took to saving them in a match box to prove it! bought the boots sharpener and another eye liner in the hope that being bounced about in a delivery van broke the original pencils, nope this one was the same. Such a shame as I have spent a fortune on 4 liners, a pencil sharpener for not much use at all!! I have since bought a Rimmel eyeliner that I love, easy to apply, stays on, sharpens easily with no breakage.

I have been using this product for a long time, and it goes on really easily, it can be smudged along your eye. I always use the blue pencil even though I have brown/green eyes and dark hair, I find it enhances better than black. Would recommend

I have NEVER had a reaction to using any eyeliner pencil but this one made my eyes sting really badly immediately after putting it on. It made them continually water and become really bloodshot where they were stinging so badly. I notice that other reviews have also mentioned this so I think Boots really need to look at the ingredients as something somewhere isn't right. So if the look you are going for is watery, bloodshot eyes then this is the eyeliner pencil for you - if not, then please avoid at all costs as it really isn't a good look!

The No7 metallic eye pencils are lovely and creamy. There is no drag when applying to your eyelids like some brands. They also last so no need to keep topping up all the time. They also come with a smudger.

I first started to use the metallics range a couple of years ago and now have it in all the colours available! I was initially slightly disappointed due to when applying it it seemed to 'drag' the delicate under eye area but if you sharpen it slightly before 1st use it glides on and it lasts! I'm currently using the Camouflage +Pine Green as the lighter shade on my inner eye line makes a massive difference to achieve the 'smokey' eye look.

Very pleased with the depth of colour, ease of application and lasting power at a reasonable price. Previously have used a similar product which is not as good and much more expensive.

I like this product very much. Gives a soft outline and not at all harsh. However, can anyone tell me how to get get the pencil to turn so that more of the pencil comes out. I cannot figure it out.

I actually got this eyeliner free a month or so ago when I bought a few No7 products and when I saw it I was a bit skeptical as it was a purple shade which I had never tried before. When i did decide to wear it i ended up FALLING IN LOVE. It glides on so smoothly and the purple makes my green eyes pop so much. I couldn't recommend it enough and will definitely be purchasing once it runs out.
