Purchased this in store yesterday so have only tried it out for a few hours. But it didn't seem to smudge or wear off like my old eye liner pencil..... However, I am totally confused by the twisting end of the pencil and cannot see what, if anything, it is supposed to do?

I have been using this for years. The colour is lovely, not quite as harsh as black.

This eye pencil is great until you need to sharpen it - which will be quite quickly as it's very soft. At that point you might as well throw it in the bin! I've tried putting it in the fridge and the freezer and nothing seems to stop it breaking in the sharpener. So, all in all, a waste of money, in my opinion - and I'm generally a fan of all things No 7.

I’ve bought this several times as I really like the camouflage colour (more khaki/gold) but the pencil is really hard to sharpen, the inner breaks easily and I’ve found tha you get to the bottom half and there is often nothing inside at all.

I’ve been using No. 7 products for years and really like the quality and choice of products. Within the last year, I’ve bought this eyeliner in both purple and black and have had a reaction, getting itchy, puffy eyelids. I’ve never had any problems before...have the ingredients been changed?? Such a shame as otherwise this product would be great.

I've been using these eye pencils for years. The green/khaki colour for the day and the black for the night. Both colours are lovely with a slighlty metalic sheen. If you're looking for a sharp line then these pencils are not for you. However, if you want a subtle line then they're ideal. They're very soft and easy to apply. I use the sponge end to blend the colour. As the pencil is soft they don't hurt when applied but they do wear down & must be sharpened carefully using a good quality sharpener. The price is reasonable for such a lovely product.

I really really love this eyeliner. The colour is lovely (I use camouflage and the black ones). They go on amazingly smoothly and last all day. My only gripe with it is, that when you get down to around the last third of the pencil (and I have used A LOT of them) they all break! It’s like they’ve been chucked around so all the lead bit has broken into a million pieces. I find it so frustrating!!! I know we’re trying to be eco-friendly but I think if it was packaged in a box it might last longer? I couldn’t be anymore careful than I am with it so I assume it must happen in transit?

I have theses in every colour they are all fantastic, pencil goes on easy and smooth and the sponge adapter on the other end to blend the colours in is excellent. I got these with coupons I had with £3 off so they were great buys for £4-50 each. I love no7 and these little beauties have become my favourite.

This is a very good eyeliner. It is very easy to apply as it is nice and soft and glides along. I am very impressed by the quality and it blends well.

I agree with all the comments about trying to sharpen this pencil and eventually put it in the bin which is a shame as I like the colours.
