I’ve been using this product for years and now will have to find something new, why change an excellent product. You will lose customers in droves!

Why

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I too tried to purchase the original hot cloth cleanser and was told it had been replaced. My skin is very sensitive so I asked for a sample which I was kindly given. That evening, I tried the new product and immediately my skin started to sting and feel irritated. I had been using the original hot cloth cleanser for years which I absolutely loved. I really don't know why they have replaced it with a product that not only my own skin can't tolerate but many other reviewers are also experiencing the same or similar problems. Please bring back the old one?!

I purchased this cleanser recently after a visit to my local Boots store. I always used the original Hot cloth Cleanser and was told that it had been discontinued and that this was the new replacement. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to find it is nothing like the old version, it made my skin feel tight and dry and after a few days my skin was very red, so stopped using it and purchased another well known Hot Cloth Cleanser instead. I fail to understand why Boots would discontinue such a good product and replace it with such a substandard product which was such a good seller. Another thing is the price the original cleanser cost £10 and this new one is £13, how can Boots justify such a big increase in price. Please Boots listen to your customers and bring the old version back, you are going to lose loyal customers. Normally use a lot of no.7 skincare products but the new products are not up to standard the search begins for a new brand. Would give zero stars if I could.

Why why WHY! Has this been changed? Stings eyes and does not remove mascara. I sent an email regarding the new improved (not it's not) product to boots, poor response telling me they would pass on my feedback! I have used the old product for years with no issues, I used to recommend to everyone but this new formula is terribly and I usually stock up 3 per purchase. The old formula was the only thing I can remove eye make up with! Come on boots action your customers concerns!!!

Burnt my face!

This stuff needs immediately recalling due to the sheer number of identical complaints!! My skin became red, sore and blotchy after just one use! Needless to say it went in the bin. Sort it out boots please. I'll stick to Superdrug hot cloth cleansers or Liz Earle if I can afford it!

I have been using this for a month now. My skin can be sensitive and this product has reduced the redness i was experiencing with my old cleanser. I love how luxurious it feels whilst applying it and the smell is very pleasant. I was buying another well known hot cloth cleanser which costs more and kept irritating my skin so I am very happy with this find. I am always impressed with the quality of the No 7 range.

I have used EL for two years, however when I ran out I purchased the beautiful skin cleanser and thought it was a great dupe! This new formula is rubbish! I used this for around 8 weeks, hoping my skin would adjust. However it has not. It has broke me out on my cheeks AND forehead. Will be going back to EL hot cloth cleanser. This is soooooooo bad.. kinda has put me off all no7 skin products

I bought this last week and noticed it wasn’t the usual hot cloth cleanser that I love. So I read up on the reviews and was really disappointed to see all the negative comments, so decided to give this a go anyway. I have to save I am extremely upset with the product, it’s made me break out quite badly. Why change something that worked so well?!

Really surprised by low reviews

I have what you’d probably call hormonal skin and it gets awful with stress, times of the month, poorly etc ... I don’t have oodles of money but decided to get something other than a facewipe and a quick facewash to try. I bought this (along with the Radiants Results Toner) and after just a week my skin is SO much better. I didn’t try the previous hot cloth cleanser so nothing to compare to but I am really, really happy. My skin is much brighter and clearer, pores seem to be minimised, my make up using this (along with the toner and the day cream for dry skin) already glides on where it had looked blotchy and awful. Really happy!!
