The previous formula equalled the Liz Earle product but this new version is inferior. Thicker product which is harder to remove and leaves skin feeling dry, not refreshed and soft as it should be.

The original hot cloth cleanser was a direct competitor to the much more expensive Liz Earle. Since Boots now own Liz Earle they have changed the original formula and this one is no where near as effective. Hence, people go back to the much pricey Liz Earle. Do you think Boots mind? ££££££

I really can’t comment on the old formula as I had never tried it... but this cleanser is fab! I have sensitive combination skin and it leaves it feeling lovely, soft and clean. I also think it’s working wonders on my visible pores. The only negative is the cloths too rough for my skin so I use my own.

Best cleanser ever. Used it only a couple of times but my skin feels totally different already - dont thik its ever been this soft. Love it

I changed from Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to the Boots version a couple of years ago and was delighted with it - just as effective and much cheaper! When I ran out, I purchased the new version and am so disappointed with it. To start with, the cleansing cream is too thick to come out of the can! After repeatedly pumping it, a tiny pea size came out and then a splat hit the bathroom wall. When I finally got enough out to put on my face, the consistency was too heavy and creamy to come off with warm water without scrubbing with the cloth which wasn’t very good for my skin. Please go back to the old formula or I’m switching back to Liz Earle - and sod the cost!

Used the old version, very Happy with it. Updated it apparently, not as good at all. Why fix what isn’t broken?

I have combination skin, with patches of oil and dry patches. This cleanser works great. It removes my makeup perfectly and leaves my skin feel fabulous. I use it with an eye makeup remover too and the night and day no 7 moisturisers and all together leave my skin cleansed and clear.
