I loved the old style Restore and Renew but after reading bad reviews thought Iwould try and get a sample of the serum and Day cream.So pleased I did it is awful. Used it thismorning had to use a brush as it bobbled up left my face a putty colour and seemed to set like plaster of paris. Love protect and perfect which I use but thought I would try this for my age group 66. Please don't change formula of protect and perfect Boots its perfect or another lost customer

I came here to post a negative review, only to find that many reviewers feel the same as I do about this product. I have very dry skin and spent many years and lots of money searching for the perfect moisturiser. I found it in the original formula Restore and Renew. My problem up until then had been foundation that became claggy and bitty as I applied it, and then became patchy as the day went on. The original Restore and Renew alleviated this problem and I have been using it very happily for years. I bought my latest pot of the new formula cream a few weeks ago and I now have the same problem, foundation that is difficult to "spread", which becomes bitty, patchy and clogs my eyebrows. I am so disappointed as I now have to start searching for a different moisturiser when I thought I had found the perfect one. No 7 please bring back the original formula.

Having used restore and renew since it came out I had no problems until the formula was changed. At first it was OK but then I had a burning sensation and now I have red patches and dryness all over my face. What have they put in the new formula? I am not the first to have this reaction it would appear.

I love this cream, however I will not be buying it future because I find the jar too difficult to manage. I have some arthtiritis and find it poorly shaped to open and close, it is also rather heavy. Please couldn't you sell in a basic plastic jar or tube. A product as good as this does not need embelishment.

What a shame - I have been using this product for some time and liked it....but then something changed - the formula?? Now it is so drying on an already dry skin ...and I agree with another recent reviewer - it leaves orangey coloured stains around the neckline of clothes which are impossible to remove and therefore ruin them. Sadly, I will have to find another brand ......

i have used this cream for four years now. It works for me, I have had comments that my skinin better condition now.I am 67 years old and think the cream is great for my aging skin by keeping it soft mosturised and healthy.

I had used this product for some years & was very happy with it, however it has changed drastically & I hate it. The cream is much thicker & is not readily absorbed by the skin. In addition, it gives a very tight feeling to the face & neck which is most uncomfortable. I will not be buying it again, but unfortunately I have three pots which cost almost £50. What a waste of money!!

How could you do this. By far the best day cream on the market and you have ruined it. I have used this moisturiser for a long time and have loved it. I got a real shock when using my latest jar to find it has all the attributes of all the others, glaggy, clotted and impossible to wear under foundation. So disappointed.

Something has changed. This used to be much richer leaving my skin soft and nourished. I think No7 to to take a look at this product. My sister said exactly the same thing. We will no longer be buying

Not happy at all with this new product , I'm using so much more of this product now as its very thick and the texture is nothing like the old cream which was lovely and soft , I'm going to have to find a new cream
