Not enough oil content melts in the water
1No good for anything but daytime use don’t buy for holiday - you will burn and be reapplying constantly. Melts off like milk. Depressed should have bought heliocare like I did last year

Amazing product
5I was looking for the Soltan SPF 50 BB cream but I guess they no longer make it. I bought this instead and surprise surprise it is almost the same. Leaves a dewy finish and a healthy glow, minimises pores, wrinkles. Better suited for normal to dry skin. It is double the price of the Soltan product so that is annoying. However, the shade suits me well. For reference I am shade Cool vanilla in the No 7 foundation range. So not exactly suitable for extremely fair skin unless you have a little tan on. The quality is amazing, applied easily, no streaks and no creasing. It’s better than some foundations I used. You can apply cream blusher and highlight after a few minutes so that the product sinks into the skin first.

great for dry skin
5I have very dry skin due my age (hormonal changes) plus Retinol and Obagi treatments. I must protect my skin with a very high UV product and I found this AMAZING cream. If you have oily skin I don't recommend it. For combination skin my advice is to use setting powder or your favourite product on top of you "T" zone, if you have dry and flaky skin, go for it!!!

Brilliant
5This tinted factor 50 is as good as colourless, i used this during the summer not to look completely pale. Brown spots on face reduced by a lot! Have lupus so very important to me to protect the skin.brilliant product

Protects well from the Sun
3Sun protection for the face is so important, UVA rays from the sun are now known to be aging, causing wrinkles, pigmentation, sun spots etc Using Sunscreen daily is vital to take care of your skin and is main playing in fighting the signs of aging. I've been using this product for over a month now and as a sun protector it seems to work great. As a BB tinted cream it's mediocre.. I bought the Fair and the tint is subtle on my skin, which isn't too bad for day to day if you don't want to wear makeup but to cover blemishes/redness etc which this barely does, you will need to use concealer. It takes quite a bit of blending in to get it even, otherwise it can be streaky and settle into pores leaving that lovely orange peel look..not attractive. After blending it is a little tacky so I always add a little powder on top to mattify and even out my skin tone a bit more. I sits pretty well under foundation with no balling up. I don't particularly like the scent but it goes away quickly. As for the age defying properties, who knows... I wish they hadn't stopped making Boots Soltan BB Face 50 with anti aging complex, at half the price it gave better coverage, blended well.. as well as great sun protection. I used it daily and miss it :(.... To use this product daily works out quite expensive, as unlike a normal anti aging serum or cream you have to use much more of the product to get the full sun protection, so a tube of this doesn't last long. All in all, if you can afford it, don't mind spending time to apply the product smoothly and only want a light sheer tint on your skin, then this is for you. What's important for me is a good high 40/50spf tinted face sunscreen that is affordable, that I can use every day to protect my skin. So for me, I will be looking for an alternative that's a little cheaper on my pocket.

Far too orange
1Such a shame that this is sooo orange still, even in the Fair shade! It's a good price point and great that it's available in 2 SPF coverages, 30 and 50 which are a must, but my god it's so dark.

Average product, high price
3I found that this product was good but not amazing. I like that it is SPF 50+ as I burn easily, and I found it did give a nice light coverage, but the colour was completely wrong for me, not 'fair' at all. The good thing about it was that it didn't make my face look dirty, which other bb creams have in the past. I did think it would be slightly too dark from the sample, but thought I would give it a go anyway so I can't complain too much about the colour. What puts me off it the most is that it was difficult to get an even coverage, and as it wasn't the right colour for me, an even coverage was important. I also think it would be very difficult to reapply due to the texture of the product and the lack of even coverage. Instead of reapplying the product I used a different, untinted facial sun cream when I reapplied. I thought this would smudge the bb cream but it seemed to stay put OK. I do think this is a good product, but nothing special, and the price is quite high. If there was a better colour match I might consider buying it again as I am unaware of any other similar products. To be honest, I would recommend using a regular facial sun cream and your usual foundation or bb cream on top of that rather than this product, unless you want to save space while packing and have only 1 product rather than 2 or 3.

Brilliant BB Cream!
5Delighted with this No 7 BB cream which provides great coverage whilst the Fair shade gives a super warm tone, not the usual pale pasty look! With brilliant SPF 50 plus ant-ageing benefits, you get all the protection and a presentable look in one convenient product!

Love it! 2in1 really good coverage
5I have dark spots which come out with just a bit of sun and this product really helps to keep them at bay. Also, as another person wrote/ the secret is to apply it 15 min before anything else on top. I like the fact that is tinted- unless the regular factor 50 cream- I know where and how much I used. It gives me arealky natural look- covers all redness and small blemishes/ smooths enlarge pores- really like this product. The problem is that only sometimes I can get this cream at my local boots- so online is the only way to get this.

Hydrating.protecting tinting
5I bought bb 30 fair few days ago and i love it my skin looks fresh and moisterised with a slight tint. I find it is quite light I could wear foundation on top. It is an all in one product it saves time and money!
