Very good!
4I've been searching for the right foundation for me for aaages! Went into boots and had the match test and was recommended this in Calico. The colour is great for me and its the longest lasting foundation i've found! It gives really good coverage whilst giving a nice natural finish aswell. My ony criticism is the packaging.. because its a pump it means you dont get all of it and when the pump stops working theres still a fair bit left that you cant get to!! I will be continuing this as my everyday foundation though.

Best Foundation Yet
5Bought this last week after using the skin match service and I'm so pleased with the results. I've been trying different foundations for ages and all of them felt thick on my skin and would go dry and cracked after a few hours. This glides on my skin and feels beautiful and dries to a love smooth finish and makes for a lovely base for the rest of my make up. A great tip I also learned was to use a primer underneath my foundation after using day cream, so invested in the Airbrush Away product which also works wonders.

Simply lovely
5I only bought this foundation recently and from the first time I used it I loved it. It goes on very nicely ,gives excellent coverage and stays on well. I was advised to use warm ivory after using the match made service in Boots and the colour is perfect for me. I have recently used a foundation from another company that cost me £9.50 more and the No7 one is every bit as good.

Not hydrating and colour doesn't stay in place
2I am a teen with very pale skin and few facial markings, so having stuggled since I started wearing a little make-up to find a foundation that not only kept my skin hydrated, but also kept me looking true-to-colour naturally, I was excited when I was recommended this foundation by an in-store No7 colleague. However, I have had around a six-month break from wearing foundation (preferring to use a BB cream for school/day-to-day wear), and only today revisited this foundation. And I realise why I stopped using this product! (Shade: ALABASTER) Firstly the actual application of this foundation is quite light and smooth and feels fairly natural when blending. But soon after finishing my make-up, I noticed that my skin looked dull and tired, and as the day wore on my face began to feel increasingly dry which in turn made me conscious of how my face appeared in daylight. I never re-aplicate make-up because I prefer to allow my skin to breath at least partly through products, but with this foundation I felt that the actual liquid itself on my skin was becoming more and more patchy throughout the day. Having pale young skin, I was also hoping that this foundation was going to keep me looking natural aswell as giving me a slight colour boost, but the colour after the day's wear had become, and unless my eyes are mistaken, much darker than it had been when I first applied it to my face! The price is reasonable, however, and good for those with Boots cards. Overall I wouldn't recommend this foundation, for neither normal/dry types or skin that is partial to needing long-lasting wear as I feel it did not deliver on the hydration or colour-stability it promises. However, I have been using No7's BB cream for normal/dry types in 'FAIR' and have no complaints about it, as it delivers moisture and long-lasting blendable coverage!!! :-)

5For some time now Boots No7 had slipped off my beauty radar - but not any more! Althought this review is for Stay Perfect Foundation and the Match Made service it's also for the whole new range. I love everything about it - the new colours, textures and especially the new foundations - I've never had a colour so close to my difficult to match skintone. Goodbye pricey premium ranges and hello Boots No7!

5I couldn't wait to try No7's new skin tone matching device and bought the Protect and Perfect foundation from their new range. It is really good. If you like light to medium coverage foundations with natural finish, look no further. I compare this to the amazing Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, the texture, consistency and effect on the skin is pretty identical. To me the P&P one wins by having board spectrum SPF 15, containing no fragrance and being this bit extra silky. It simply spreads like a dream on the skin, both stippling brush and using my fingers worked great, and evens out skin tone without masking the skin. If you have fairly good skin and love seamless foundations, this is definitely one to check out. For a light coverage foundation this one wears really well, lasts all day on me. Lovely modern packaging too, looks more expensive than it is.

Generally very happy with this foundation
4I was looking for a good, long lasting foundation to last me through my prom and, since i'd only ever previously bought fondations under £10, i thought an increase in budget would mean an increase in quality. Although not a huge leap, the few extra pounds does make a difference and is probably better value for money as you only need around a pea sized drop for smooth coverage. At first application, it's light and evens skin tone well without looking fake or chalky. I was also pleased with the spf 15 it supplies to keep skin sunsafe. My only minor problem is that, after a few hours, the coverage fades and the foundation gives my skin a slightly oily look. I have sensitive skin though so the oily effect might not appear for everyone

very litle coverage and colour s hard to match dont buy on line
1i bought this product for a treat from my son for mothers days....only to find when i applied it i looked like i had a spray tan i selected the lightest shade even tho i do go for a slightly darker than my skin tone. but this was an awful look . i was nt happy with the product so returned it to the store where i bought it to be told sorry just because the colour is not right we can not exchange .......... dont buy it ask for a sample because i have a bottle of £15 foundation that i cant wear should of stuck with l'oreal hope this is helpful.........

Thrilled with this foundation
5I have searched every make-up brand known to woman to find a cheaper alternative to my old faithful and was always disappointed when I tried something new that it just didn't compare and so resigned myself that come what may I would by hook or by crook find the pennies to fund my 'unbeatable' foundation.... Then by shear desperation of running out of my usual foundation and being on tight budget ( still getting over Christmas) I had a £5 voucher off and decided to see what No 7 had to offer and boy did it offer?!!! It's so quick and easy to apply, stays put, looks amazing on my skin and feels so light and I'm quids in!! I will never look back.

No colour match
4I purchased the cream shade on advice of sales assistant - unfortunately was rather too orangey for me - tried the porcelein shade - too yellowy - so its been rather too expensive trial and error. I found the coverage was not good enough if you have uneven skin - needs concealer underneath - otherwise it feels almost invisible on the skin . Will persevere and hope the 3 for 2 is still on.
