Soft and Smooth no GREASY Feeling
5I am always cautious about trying new products out... So far i love it. I am not finishing the day with oily greasy skin. I usually cannot wait to take my foundation off but this is great! It is smooth, not sticky and makes my skin feel a lot better. I struggle with bad skin so was weary seeing its an all in one foundation.

Beautiful foundation
5I was given a sample of this foundation in Calico. Skin: My skin is quite dry, mainly around my nose, mouth and my cheeks. The rest of my face is normal. I have some areas with larger pores, a bit of redness on my cheeks and in my late 30s starting to see some lines, especially on my forehead. I generally apply No7 P&P serum and a variety of moisturisers before my make up. I use a colour correcting primer as well. The foundation: The P&Pa foundation is a little bit thicker than the Stay Perfect, Protect and Perfect and Hydraluminous foundations. It applied really well with a damp make up sponge and gave me medium coverage. It blurred smaller imperfections but I could still see my skin and some redness on my cheeks showing through. I checked if it was buildable and I had no issues there, although I preferred the look with just a single application. I found the foundation to dry pretty quick and applied a matte powder to set. The finish is natural, a touch dewy. I applied a little bit of highlighter to get a more luminous finish. The foundation did not settle in my pores or lines. It wore a little thin on my chin after a day at work, but I do touch my chin quite a lot. The foundation held up really well overall. I am really impressed with this foundation and love how natural it looks. I can't comment on any skin improvements because I have only used it 2 days, but I am happy with the SPF 50. I took a picture using flash and I didn't look like ghost, so that's all good too. I am definitely buying this foundation. I wasn't impressed with the Hydraluminous foundation which I tried a few months ago. I felt it emphasised my dry skin areas. This new foundation is much more suited to my dry skin.

Very disappointed
2Up until a few months ago I only used high end foundations, I purchased the Hydralumious foundation and was really impressed, I then tried the triple serum foundation which for me works really well. I am 68 and enjoy a good foundation, I then purchased this new protect and perfect foundation which I have to say I am not impressed at all. It remains sticky ,dries eventually patchy, sinks into lines and pores and the lasting time is about 3 hours. Another foundation bites the dust.

Not for me
3Fortunately I was able to get a sample of this, so I’m pleased I haven’t had to spend money on the product itself. It goes on nicely, has a medium coverage but after just 6 hours it had settled into my pores and looked patchy. I have an oily T zone so thats maybe why. Probably would suit someone with normal or dry skin.

Caused Extreme breakouts on my ‘normal’ type skin
1I use the P&P skin care range and I was so excited for this foundation. Unfortunately after the first few wears I noticed I’d started to break out, which is very unusual for me as I have non problematic skin. Even if I hadn’t broke out, I found the foundation to be patchy, the coverage to be uneven and the product to not blend well with other things on top (eg. Concealer, powder etc.)

Not good for my skin
3I bought this foundation a week ago and have used it since. I feel that the product settles into my lines and pores. With my previous foundation, you couldn't see the pores on my cheeks but with this foundation you can. I also don't like the finish as it leaves me shiny so I have had to top up with powder where I wouldn't usually. On the whole, I'm really disappointed with the product and wish I hadn't bought it :(

Bought this yesterday but not impressed
2I bought this yesterday as my usual no7 foundation was out of stock as was my mascara in liverpool store . I was disappointed I have oily skin when I put it on it wasnt to bad coverage wise but still could see my rosacea but after a few hrs my face was so oily and found it very patchy so wasted £17 not happy at all as the lady said it would be fine for me also found my cheeks a bit itchy now it's taken off so frustrating got to wait another few weeks now before I can purchase another foundation as I cant use current one now as returns policy says cant return it

Miracle product
5I'm absolutely in love with this foundation! I'm more of a beautifully matte and hydralumnious gal but after this came out I'm now a P&P All in one kinda gal! I have combination skin and have trouble finding a foundation that's doesn't wipe off/separate on my nose. I have rather big pores too and this foundation seems to make my pores visibly reduced and it stays in place all day! No separation, no smudging and with SPF 50+ it's amazing! I'm a Macmillan beauty advisor too, so this is a perfect foundation for those who have suffered/suffering from skin cancer on their face (I've met a few) also! It's a lovely medium coverage which can be built into a full coverage in seconds. I personally like to sometimes set mine with power for more of a matte finish, but it looks amazing without powder for a summery dewy finish. Doesn't feel like I'm even wearing foundation and I'm also getting my serum top up throughout the day keeping me plumped and looking youthful :)
