A Great Powder I would Recommend

4

This product, No7 Perfect Light Pressed Powder, is a nice, but fairly expensive addition to my make up bag. I first discovered this product as a gift for Christmas. This product is simply amazing. I have the Translucent, and it does show up, especially on my very pale skin. It's not too over-powering, and doesn't leave any marks behind. It doesn't show much shine, and is an all round great product! However, as I am sure you are aware, this product does cost a lot, which dissapointed me when I found out, because I am running low. Even though I have owned this product for four months, I haven't used it until the begining of April, and it is already running low, even though I don't wear much make up.

No7 Pressed Powder in 10: Fair

5

I adore this powder compact. I just had to write a review! For me, £12 seems quite a lot for pressed powder but after finding out Topshop had discontinued theirs I needed to find more. I had a £5 off voucher which meant I was getting much better value for money. I asked the shop assistant about which colour I should buy and she was very helpful and explained that Translucent gives no coverage so I opted for Fair. I'm so glad I did. First of all, the packaging is lovely. It comes in a sleek black compact with good mirror and hinge mechanism that opens up when you press the button. It looks much more expensive than it is. After having it sit in my bedroom for a couple of months while I used up my other powder, I finally opened it. The powder itself is wonderful. Smooth and velvety and very airy. It is the perfect colour for my skin, fairly pale. It sorts out any shine while evening skin tone and it doesn't make skin look dull. The powder never makes the mirror dirty because the delicate puff sits in between. I usually apply it with my big Bamboo powder brush (as it's so light, it goes on the brush easily and you don't need to use much) but when I'm in a hurry, the puff is just perfect. I never experience any orange smears and it makes my skin look very smooth. The only disadvantage is you don't get a very large amount for your money. However, on my second day of using it I really fell for this powder. I discovered the sticker on the back peels to reveal product information and saw that it contains vitamins and Hyaluronic Acid. It really couldn't get better. It's a must have product and I look forward to buying it again and again!

Great for oily skin.

I use this product in its lightest shade to get rid of oiliness throughout the day. I love the fact it comes with a little mirror and pad to put the powder on. It makes it really handy to have in your purse. It is not to heavy and doesn't dry my skin out too much when I put it on like other products have and it is brilliant and taking the oiliness away. I always carry one around with me!

Not good value for money!

I have tried many pressed powders from expensive to cheap and this is one of the worst! The powder it's self is okay but for the price its not very good quality. I have had powders for a lot cheaper that worked as well and lasted longer. My main complaint is that it only lasted a few weeks before it started to show a hole in the middle and I don't wear a lot of make up really. For the price I would have expected it to last much longer! If this powder was better priced or on offer I would buy again but not at full price.

This product is really good.

I love this product! Everytime i wore this product, my skin looked flawless and my skin felt so soft with it on. This product also lasts quite a while, its only my nose that ever goes shiny which takes a few hours for that to happen. The disadvantage was the price, theres not alot for what you get and the difficult thing was to get into it, i nearly broke it because i didnt know you had to press the button.

very good quality powder

This powder is light, soft and very good quality. Easy to apply with a power brush or kabuki. Dont get a thick layer of powder either. The only thing i dont like about this powder is the lack of it. You dont get a lot of product for the amount you pay. I say take out the mirror and add in more powder. I find that the packaging is hard to open as the button does not always move but the powder its self is great and worth the money .

Nice

I really like this powder. It goes on easily with a brush. It feels light on the skin and it doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top of the skin. I have quite dry skin so I only need a light dusting to hold my foundation in place. The compact itself is sturdy and the packaging is very sleek and nice. The only thing I don't like about this product is the sponge provided. It's very thin and flimsy, so I'll be buying my own powder puff.

Works for me

I've never tried no7 powder before and I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It sets my foundation really well and gives a matte finish to my oil prone skin. Be careful when choosing your colour though - despite my being quite pale, the consultant chose 'medium' and after trying it I certainly wouldn't want it any lighter than that. Also keep away from the eye area as it can show up wrinkles on the delicate skin there.

I have used no7 pressed powder for a few years now but this time its different, really dry shows up fine lines and its like putting talc on your face.I think its changed, not for me anymore.

Disappointment!

This product gives a powder finish that blends very evenly to my face (I'm very fair skinned). I was disappointed with the product as it does not help cover any blemishes I have at all (even when I only have a few). Usually I always purchase the Maxfactor facefinity foundation, which is a powder similar to this product. I've also posted a review for this product (have a read to compare). I think as an overall summary, if you want a product just to give a powder finish, maybe if you have oily skin then this product will do the job, however if you have any uneven skin tones or blemishes, then you'll need something a bit different, in which case I'd reccommend Maxfactor.
