Love this powder
5Love this powder. Gives light coverage but even with a natural finish. Is great for my oily skin as doesnt clog pores

Gives good, light coverage
4If you are looking for a foundation that is a 100% blemish cover this is not for you. HOWEVER, if you, like me, wear a bit of concealer to hide blemishes and want a light coverage that evens skin tone this is for you. It covers really well and is perfect with a matte primer underneath. The only reason I gave it one less star is because the colour at first seems a bit weird, but you soon get used to it. Overall it's a good, long lasting mineral powder.

Performs like it should
4I only ever used one other mineral foundation, True Match (L’Oreal) in N3 Creamy Beige and did a comparison by doing one side of my face with No7 in 10 - New Ivory and the other with the True Match. Colour wise, they are very similar and both are very forgiving if I go darker in the summer months or after a bit of self-tan. In winter I am No7 Warm Ivory. I think it would be too dark for the palest skins but 1 or 2 shades either side of Warm ivory could probably use this colour. Texture: the No7 is finer and looked sheerer than the True Match so slightly less coverage. Personally when I use the Mineral powder foundation I'm after speed and not coverage so I'm OK with this. Packaging: True Match comes in a small pot which fits the integrated small brush. I find the brush too small and also too hard but I can’t use any other brush in the pot. No7 Mineral Perfection, on the other hand, has a bigger pot in which I can fit a much bigger brush if needed, although the brush that comes with it (there is no mention of it on the product description) is working very well for me. Finally price wise, the L’Oreal is £1.5 more expensive than the No7 and this makes a choice between the 2 a no brainer. I would recommend it and as I feel there isn’t much difference between brands I would rather buy the N07 and spend the savings on skincare that does make a difference.

Not what I expected
2Unfortunately I was so disappointed with this product I put it in the bin. The coverage was good and it was light on my skin, but it made me look so grey and pasty that I couldn't get of off quick enough,what a shame.

Good overall
3When this product appeared some time ago, it was available in various colours. Although I am continuing to use the only available colour at present (ivory), it is far too pale and does tend to make me very colourless - almost ill-looking - which is very disappointing. I would appreciate it if boots could start making a number of different shades, as this is an exceptionally good product.

Perfectly easy and long lasting.
5Great powder to give natural even coverage. I use over concealer dabbed around the eye area. Lasts all day, loads left on pad when removed before bed. I use daily and pot lasts about three months so excellent value for money as well.

The best by far
5Incredible product, I’ve tried every mineral foundation and this is the best, a worker in my local boots told me it’s being discontinued, I hope this isn’t true, my only complaint would be that I wish it was stocked in all stores,

It may be back - but the wrong colour
5I love this make-up and was very disappointed when it disappeared of the shelves. Great that its back - but why only for fair people. Come on Boots bring back the full range

Would be lost without it!
5I have combination skin so I find that traditional liquid foundations can clog my pores and cause breakouts. Since I started using the Mineral Perfection Powder Foundation my skin has improved. The powder is light and easy to apply using the applicator brush (which comes with the powder in the box). Provides good coverage which can be varied according to how much you apply, so a heavier application can be applied for more coverage in evening. Powder has an SPF 15 which is great for daywear. Provides a natural look with a flawless finish, good at covering imperfections.
