A very god product: hint on how to make it last!
4I have used this after-shave for several years, and it works well. It is also in a convenient pack for travel. However a hint: don't throw it away when it runs out. Cut it in half, and put both halves it in a small screw-top pot, and then you can get easy access to what's left inside. it goes on another 2 weeks then of usage!

Reguarly buy this
5This is a great product I think as you can often use a no7 voucher to purchase it which makes it very good value for money. It's fairly thick so you don't need to use a lot of it and moisterisers well without an overbearing smell. Never had any rashes or allergic reactions from it. It's fairly small but I like this as i apply it in the shower and fits on the soap dish quite easily.

Very Effective
5This is the most effective post shave balm I've ever used. It's light and helps to get rid of my shaving spots. Although it's a little pricey, it's worth it. I'm really going to miss this product when I move to America this year.

old version back please
1for years i always made sure i had the no7 balm in my bathroom as it was such a good quality product, and its now been refornulated to this poor imitation. come on boots lets have the old version back. i know times are tight and costs are getting cut, but please.... i wont be buying this again.

1The old balm was excellent. Used it for years. Went to buy a replacement tube, found the product had been changed. No SPF. Not happy!!! Now looking for another brand that does the same job as the old product.

Very disappointing........
1It has took me years to find a balm that is good for my skin. The old version of this was very good, with the extra protection of SPF. I can't believe they have changed the ingredients with the rebranding. Not happy!!

IGNORE ALL REVIEWS BEFORE JUNE 2012 - DIFFERENT PRODUCT
1The review from AdamkHz is spot on. The old product was the best shaving balm I have ever used, but Boots have used the rebranding as an opportunity to sneakily change the recipe and now it's useless and watery. I took it back for a refund and was told that the SPF15 had been removed as they were getting complaints of it causing allergic reactions. It still said SPF15 on the shelf edge label though. Very naughty Boots.

Re-branded and ruined
1The original Post Shave Recovery Balm was a stellar product (especially when bought 3 for 2 or with a £5 voucher). The No.7 range, however, is in the process of re-branding, but be aware that the changes are more than skin deep (literally!). This is not the same product that it replaced. This has been totally re-formulated, and (for me) ruined. Gone is the SPF15 of the original, and gone are the qualities of the original as an after shave balm. This looks, feels and smells like something from Nivea (and performs as badly). If you were a fan of the old version then please don't pay full price to try this, you may well be disappointed.
