Best moisturiser of all time
5Can't believe how good this is. I am 45 my skin looks dull. This makes it shine. For the people complaining it has glitter in it I can only imagine that there skin is already young and shiny and doesnt need it. Please don't stop making this boots. It makes me look healthy and at least a few years younger. Love Love Love!

Best day moisturiser i have ever used
5I have been using this moisturiser for more than 10 years now and have also tried many other products from them and cannot recommend enough. I will agree that there is some shine to this but I would not say that it is “sparkly” or “glittery” as some other reviews have said as that would be inaccurate. I am a man so as you can imagine i do not want to walk around with a sparkly face. The one tip i will give those who are slating this product is to learn how to apply it properly and how to mix it with other products because having done this myself for many years now, I am still to find a fault that I can even mention. This moisturiser will change your life!!

Makes my eyes stream
1I bought this along with the night cream and don’t consider myself particularly sensitive but both of them make my eyes stream even though I’m careful not to get it too close to my eyes, such a waste of money for me, very disappointed, back to Nivea

20 years of use & get told I look 8 years younger!
5I have used No 7 skin products for over 20 years. I've worked my way through all of the age ranges using the day & night creams and serum. I frequently shock people when i tell them I'm 52, and recently was twice told I look 44. I don't have good genes and never have skin issues since using No 7. I will never use any other skin products

Great day cream
5I had mixed feelings about buying this cream because of many negative reviews but I’m pleased to say I love it .... my skin is hydrated and feels lovely and I haven’t experienced any flaking or clumping . I only apply a small amount and don’t massage it into the skin it’s perfect and it’s now my new beauty product

Very, very disappointed
1I won’t buy this again - it’s FILLED with glitter. I looked like an 80s disco queen. I know it’s supposed to ‘illuminate’ but really you can see the glitter sparkling under a good light in a magnifying mirror. Not happy about this at all, hoping for a refund. Expect better of No 7, very very disappointed. Outrageous!

Too harsh for my sensitive skin
1I "upgraded" from Protect and Perfect as I had just turned 60 and thought I might need a richer formulation. This made my skin red and sore and peeling after a few weeks so I have stopped using it.

Disappointing
1Very greasy and like previous reviews, covering the shine (not a good look in the over 50's!!) with foundation only leads to make up coming off in clumps. Perfect for youngsters out clubbing I imagine! Shame I had to give it one star.

Not good
1I have used Perfect & Protect for years but I was recommended this from a salesperson at the No.7 counter at Boots because I’m now 51. I really didn’t like it at all. It felt like it never sunk in and made my face so shiny. Also when putting foundation over the top it balled up. I felt like I could scrape if off with my fingernails. Another thing I really disliked was the fragrance. It was so unpleasantly strong. I’ve thankfully almost finished this jar and I’m going back to Perfect and Protect.

Great cream!
5I have been buying lift & luminate for few years and I absolutely love it! I love the instant glow which is gentle and makes your face look healthy and smooth right after applying. I would not say the cream is sparkly, massively shiny or with glitter as some reviews say. It’s not oily and doesn’t make my face feel hot and sweaty during warmer days as some other moisturisers used to do. I keep using the night cream too which is great as well and smells amazing. The cream does not flake on my skin and works well with foundation I use. I will definitely buy it again and I recommended it to many of my friends so please do not let the negative reviews put you off.
