I was doubtful at first, but....
5I had been testing a luxury product at three times the price, the gorgeously blingy tub of which lasted just one month. Now it did the job, but at that price I couldn't afford to buy it. So I tried No7 L&L. At first I though, meh - it'll be substandard, but after a week I could see the effect. It does the job, and most importantly my friends (some of whom are Parisian picky-people) said,' what a lovely complexion, what are you using?' No7 was the surprising (to them) response. It's good. I like it. I'll buy it again. I don't like the eye product though.

Just Brilliant!
5Felt compelled to write my first ever product review as I can't believe not everyone has given this 5 stars. For my skin it is this simple...it makes me look more alive! Even on a very tired day I have caught glimpses of myself and looked much better than I feel! It also feels lovely to use, smells great and is quite luxurious. I use with the Lift and Luminate night cream and the P&P serum (just in the morning to keep the cost down!). Skin has never looked better. Thank you Boots and please keep doing the 3 for 2 offers!

As good as premium range product
5I swapped from a spa brand moisturiser costing 3x the price of this cream after trying the serum from this range & being blown away by the results. The moisturiser smells lovely, has a rich creamy feel without it being gloopy, disapears quickly into the skin leaving it velvety soft with a dewy glow. Im exteremely pleased with the product & would recommend to friends & family

Very disappointed
1I have used the No7 range for quite a while and really like the products so i thought I'd try this product which is meant for my age range. I was very disappointed to find that it made my skin very shiny - perhaps this is what one of the other reviewers meant when they said it definately illuminates! I will definately not buy it again.

Luminate it does do that.
1This product has made no difference to my skin. It does illuminate my skin as it makes my acne scars look darker than they actually are. It has nothing to do with the sun I use an additional sunblock. I have used my sunblock without the day cream and my marks do not appear too bad but they look worst using this cream.

Excellent Product!
5After trying various day and night creams - I was a bit dubious to try another - but this cream is amazing. It is not to heavy and the perfume is not as strong as the Protect & Perfect Day Cream. It's quality is very expensive feeling. I have combination skin and this really suits me - would definitely recommend this product along with the Night Cream and the Protect & Perfect Serum.

Not for me
1Bought the serum, day cream and night cream for a brilliant price of £40, normally spend that on day cream alone.I have to say the range is not for me it reminds me of zinc and castor cream at nappy changing time 20 years ago. The product takes an age to sink in and leaves a white sheen a complete waste of money for me will stick with my tried and trusted elemis from now on instead of trying to find a cheaper alternative. Used the product everyday for a couple of weeks thinking my skin would get used to it but gave up in the end so ebay here it comes.

No seal!!!
3I have not used this cream for long. It is pleasant and easy to apply it and has a nice feel, although it does take a while to absorb and in the meantime remains shiny and slightly greasy on the skin. My biggest objection is that it comes without any type of seal. Just the screw-on plastic top that anybody can open and close. I am astonished there are no legal requirements demanding this elementary hygienic measure! But that is what Boots have told me on the phone. I do not think I'll buy it again but for someone looking for a reasonably good moisturizer at a reasonable price it might be a good option..

Thank God it's Halloween tomorrow
1First I must clarify that I cannot comment on this creams efficacy as I only bought it yesterday and this morning is its first application. I know it is called "Lift and Luminate", I can't speak for the "lift" bit yet but boy, it certainly lives up to the "luminate" bit. I couldn't believe my eyes. My face was looking really weird. Never in my youth did I have a "healthy glow" like this! I reminded myself of a luminous clock face. The end of my nose shone like a beacon. I really don't want a day cream that I have to be careful where I apply it. This actually made me feel a fool. I am glad others really like it but it is definitely not for me.

5This is the BEST facial moisturiser I have had in a very long time. It surpasses in feel and texture many moisturisers and leaves skin with a lovely dewy finish, which can be left un made up or foundation can be applied over it. I have very sensitive skin and this has not caused any problems at, not even round the very sensitive eye area. I cannot reccomend this enough.... go on try it...
