Poor compared with previous no.7 cream
1Gutted this has replaced the previous cream for dry skin. It seems to sit on your face as opposed to soaking in and doesn’t leave skin feeling soft and hydrated like the previous one did. i won’t be buying this again. Such a shame.

Skin drinks this up
5Bought this a few weeks ago, i am 55 and my skin is troublesome due to menopause. My skin loves this gel. It is full absorbed in less than a minute. My skin also seems more settled. Even when my skin flares up this helps. I bought this to try but i am a convert. I use this faithfully as my day cream.

brilliant for sensitive skin
5i was give this mixed with the foundation drops at a trial in store. I went due to my skin becoming red and dry and sore during menopause. This gel cream mixed with foundation soothed my skin instantly and my face felt amazing for the whole day. i have been using my sample pot and no allergic reaction just smooth painless skin on removing makeup. I bought it today. Fantastic stuff.

Love this.
5I have combination dehydrated skin and I love this gel so much! It absorbs super quickly and is very much a gel rather than a cream. Because of this it might not be super comforting to very dry skin however for my dehydrated / combo skin it is perfect. It feels hydrating without feeling occlusive. Perfect for slightly dry skin in the summer! In winter I will probably switch back to a heavy oilier cream.

Great everyday cream, absorbs fast and comforting
5Bought a couple of moths ago, use everyday under makeup, makes my skin feel fresh and plump. Really similar to Clinique moisture surge which I also love. But obviously no7 is half the price so much better value for money. Would definitely recommend as a daily moisturiser to go under foundation.

Very disappointing
1I regret buying this as the replacement for no 7 beautiful which I loved. It feels horrible on my face and when I apply no 7 foundation (even 5 or 10 minutes later ) I have a white residue appear. I cannot afford afford replacement at £14 a time but have bought a new excellent cruelty free product from a cut price supermarket which is much better and has sun protection too.

Why discontinued a good product and replace with b
1Went to buy my usual skin care cream to find out beautiful range has been discontinued, I was told the water surge gel was its replacement, no problem I though. Well I’m not impressed doesn’t feel like I have any cream on my face, leaves my face very dry. I don’t like this product, used it for 3 weeks and I’m so disappointed it’s rubbish! Why change something that so many people like for a terrible product! Unless it’s bought back think I will be changing where I buy my beauty products from now as I buy the whole range of no7 sadly think this will be changing!! Bring back the old range boots!!!

Bad replacement for No7 beautiful dry skin moistur
1My friend bought me this to try as I was gutted that the moisturiser I had been using for years has now been discontinued. I was hopeful as the Beautiful Skin day cream was the only thing I would ever buy and was desperate for this to work, sadly it doesn’t. The formula is tacky to the touch once on your face and it didn’t look great once make up was on. I’ve been in touch with boots to ask about whether they have re-branded/packaged the beautiful skin care range for dry skin into something else but with the same formula -appears not and judging by the number of reviews on here pertaining to it I think they’ve made a pretty bad mistake. Why keep the oily skin range and not provide the same for those of us with dry skin? Having spoken to assistants within the store they say that lots of people have asked for it so it can’t have been selling that badly for them to discontinue it surely? Boots, please listen to your customers and read these reviews and bring back a popular product.

Feels lovely on my face
5Absolutely love this product, a tiny bit goes a really long way & it feels lovely on my dry face, I have psoriasis so my skin can be quite sensitive too but this doesn’t affect it one bit. Recommended by a No7 lady, they’ve helped me loads over the years so thank you!
