Worst polish ever
1For Xmas bought 3 for price of 2 on offer using a voucher. I applied late at night & chipped by following morning. Removed it thinking I had damaged 2 of my nails , re-applied & within hours chipped again. Have loads NO 7 skin & make-up products which I love so am very dissapointed & surprised that Boots would sell this faulty product & I feel as a consumer I should be entitled to my money back.

Awful
1Tried this and within hours it was chipping, not just little chips but large pieces. It took ages to dry. Really disappointed in this varnish and judging by all the other reviews I am surprised haven't withdrawn it!

Does not stay on even for a day
1Very disappointed. I bought 4 different colours at different times. Every time I kept thinking that it's me... I do housework, cook, wash up etc. daily, so I thought those were the reasons the colour would chip (with or without gel top coat). I love No.7 products usually, so kept going back for their gel nail colour, but kept getting disappointed . Then I bought gel varnish from another brand and it stayed on for days, then tried another brand and that stayed on for days (both brands were cheaper). So will not recommend or use No.7 gel colour again.

Don’t borjet
1Horrible polish. I gave up after 3 attempts at application. Thick and gloopy. Looked awful.

Very good
5I purchased Golden Sands shade and find it fantastic, goes on really easily with wide brush, two coats are enough, dries quickly and lasts reasonably well. I wanted to purchase another shade but am worried by large number of bad reviews, I might try another metallic shade before trying matt ones.

Absolute joke!
1I used the shade Neptune (a beautiful Smokey blueish grey) and added the No7 stay perfect glitter shade In the stars on top to create a stunning metallic blue manicure. After a few HOURS 1 of my nails was already chipped. I hadn't yet used a top coat so I gave it the benefit of doubt, tidied up the chipped nail and added a gel coat (from another brand but one I've used many times and never had any issues with) 24 hours later and 7 of my nails are chipped, most of the polish on my thumbnail has flaked off entirely. I have never ever used a polish with such poor quality or staying power. The actual consistency of the polish is very thin and required 2 coats to get an opaque colour but I expected it to last more than a day! The shade range is beautiful, the price is reasonable but that does not excuse the appalling staying power. I would not recommend this polish and I would never buy this again!!

Awful
1Worse nail polish I have ever used. Put two coats on and it started coming off two hours later while packing suitcase. Will never buy again.

Very impressive
5I was given a sample bottle of porcini... Applied as usual... I was impressed how it lasted.. It superseded all my brand polishes.. So I have now purchased another bottle ..lovely colours.

Gel nail polish
5I bought the colour Pink Mocha and have had lots of nice remarks about it. I have read 'it's gloopy, but that's the idea of 'gel' polish. I find it easy to apply, dries quickly and with this colour you can build up several layers over a few days. It's smooth as silk finish doesn't chip easily and I just touch it up and it's smooths out again. Best nail varnish I've tried. I shall be purchasing more colours. Happy Customer
