Very shiny
4Gel shine? In my experience nothing is going to get a gel shine that isn't gel . . . however this isn't a bad attempt. It's a lovely polish to apply, the brush is nice and flat and gives an even, streak free coating. I applied two coats and it dried well. I was disappointed at how quickly the tips of my nails wore away but the rest of the colour lasted wel. It's very glossy looking but not so that someone would mistake it for gels. It's not the cheapest polish I've ever used but I would say its probably reasonable value.

Stunning nails!
5I love this nail colour! I have it in Galaxy and it is truly stunning. I have previously used actual gel nails which I do love but I dont have the time to keep getting them done. This nail colour really does look and feel like gel nails! It is a lovely texture which lasts, it stays shiny and sparkly. Lasts really well without chipping and my nails are in great shape. Always get complimented on my nails when wearing this nail colour.

Just O.K
3Firstly, I love the colour that I received in the shade 'galaxy'. It's a gorgeous deep purple with a hint of shimmer but nothing to glittery, making it perfect for this time of year and any occasion. It only take one coat for an opaque pay off which is great, though the polish itself is very thick which makes it harder to apply. However, I found this nail polish to chip after only a day or two which is really disappointing for the price. I've also noticed upon reapplying that the intensity and shine of the colour fades after 2 or 3 days, which I find does not happen often to me, even with much cheaper brands.

Pretty, but chips easily
3This definately has a gel-like shine once applied, good consistency & brush so doesnt make a mess of your hand! I applied 2 coats & it looked great for the 1st few hours but i washed my hair the next morning & a few nails had chipped which is a shame. Excellent for a party/night out but not for any longer

Great quality but not long-lasting
3I have this in Deep Wine which is a really strong colour that rivals the more expensive nail polishes in terms of application and shine. The only disappointment is that it isn't long lasting and chips easily, very similar to previous No7 products that I've tried. Otherwise, great for a night out.

Very glossy
5I got this nail polish in "Galaxy" which is a deep purple colour, with a subtle shimmer. I think the colour swatches must be a little bit mixed up as it shows galaxy as being a pale pinkish colour, which it isn't. The polish itself is quite thick, which made it a little messy to apply and was hard to get right in to the corners of nails without getting some on my skin, however i fixed this afterwards. Even though it is a little messy to apply, the results are definitely worth it. I applied two coats of this (also used base and top coat) and it has lasted pretty well. I have been wearing it for 5 days and it has started to chip a little around the edges, which is much better than other nail polishes i have used. Even when it does chip, it seems to chip away in tiny little flecks from the very edges, so it's not even that noticeable! The colour is outstanding. It is the most shiny and glossy colour i have ever seen. It has beautiful flecks of navy blue and purple shimmer in it too, but these are very subtle. I would say it's good value for money as it really does give you a professional, gel like finish. Overall, a really great product!

lovely colour
3I've got this nail colour in Galaxy which is a gorgeous rich, sparkly, shiny purple colour. It goes on easily and is a good consistency. I applied 2 coats and it dried quickly. The only real drawback is that it chipped within 24 hours which was disappointing although my nails aren't in great condition just now so that may have contributed to the chipping.

no better than normal polish
3Disappointed in the colour Galaxy which is described as a glittery purple. The glitter is sparse in the bottle and doesn't show at all on the nail. Colour is closer to burgundy than purple. Had no more shine than a normal polish and by day two was dull and in need of topcoat. If you want a deep plum colour, get Damson Dream in the Stay Perfect range, a much better colour with depth and shine

No7 Gel Look Nail Polish
5WOW! This is a fantastic product. I have had the nail polish on for 5 days now and it has not chipped and still looks as fresh as ever. I suffer from a slight calcium deficiency so often get ridges on my nails and these have been covered up by the polish. A lovely range of colours too! Definitely recommend
