Didn't even last one day on holiday
1One coat isn't enough and even two coats doesn't cut it. I bought a peachy limited edition shade for my holidays and after one day it's looking faded and uneven. Sorry no.7 I usually like your products but not this one.

Beautiful
5I love this Gel-Look polish. I bought Galaxy which is a deep wine colour with little bits of multi coloured glitter in it. It goes on a treat with the flat brush and 3 sweeps coat my entire nail. It dries quickly and looks gorgeous. I can't say how long it lasts as I've only had it on for a couple of hours but I have put a No 7 Gel shine top coat on top so I am expecting to get a few days before chipping. This colour, Galaxy, is a perfect dupe for Chanel Taboo but of course at a much cheaper price. I will be buying Neptune next and another yet undecided colour as I have 2x£3 vouchers to use up.

No 7 Nail varnish gel look
5Excellent nail varnish. I have been wearing this for the last 2 weeks and it has NOT chipped, still looks fresh and very shiny. I used a base coat, 2 coats of Pillar Box Red, then a top coat also from the same range. Very pleased!

Gel Shine Top Coat - Amazing!
5The Gel Shine Top Coat is amazing, cannot recommend it enough! Does exactly what it says on the tin, gives any nail polish a beautiful Shellac-type finish, increases the staying power and also blends and smudges or chips perfectly.

Gorgeous Nails!
5This nail polish is lovely & looks fab with just 2 coats, it doesn`t chip & keeps its shine for well over a week! Got 5 of them now & intend to buy more, the colours are all gorgeous. Thanks No 7!!!!

Amazing shine
5I LOVE the amount of shine with this nail polish, makes the red even more vibrant. The brush is really wide which makes application really neat and even. Lasts well, will definitely buy more colours

Love this stuff, have given up shellac....
5I bought this on a whim with some other essentials I needed, in palest pink. Wow! I normally wear an almost-clear pink shellac, as I wash my hands a lot for my job and found this protected my nails and let them grow long. But it takes a while to cure it etc. and soaking it off in acetone is not much fun... This new polish is the same lovely almost-clear shade that keeps my nails natural. The consistency is more like a gel polish and I think where people comment that they can't work with it, it may be because they try to apply it like a normal polish. I apply in three quite thick strokes, and then let the formula do the work - this formula, much like shellac, spreads itself over the nail when you leave it alone, very evenly and smoothly. Don't try to overwork it! Contrary to a couple of other comments I found it dried really quick, and I could get on with light tasks within 15 minutes. I wore this for a hard working fortnight with only a few chips and almost forgot it wasn't my shellac until I came to take it off and reapply... and it was gone with a sweep of cotton! I am totally converted and plan to buy this in every single colour!

Glossy and hardwearing
4I've not had much luck with nail varnish when I attempt to use. I'm always left unimpressed by the fact it chips whenever I try to do anything eg cleaning and everyday activities. However, this lasts days before any chips and even then the chips are small at the tip and don't show much. I have found this varnish starts to dry very quickly so I have to work fast to apply an even coat but it takes a while to dry thoroughly. Depending on the shade you can get away with one coat. I have the clear top coat but I don't find that this prevents chipping for longer or adds more shine. The colours are very glossy on their own. I'm happy to have found something that gives me a cheaper and less harsh alternative to shellac for special occasions and times when I just want a bit of colour that will last 4-5 days.

Horrendous
1This is the worst product I have bought for a long time, put the polish on last night and chipped already. Gloopy and dragging which gives a terrible finish. Rubbish value for money and false promises - gel look, looks terrible.
