I love it
5I was a bit reluctant to try this mascara at first because of the price, since I usually pay about £5-£8 for my mascara, but after hearing good reviews and wanting to try a brown mascara, I gave it a go. It's easy to apply because of the smaller wand, lasts all day, doesn't smudge or clump at all, very buildable yet gives beautiful natural, fluttery lashes. Definitely a brilliant mascara for everyday wear! Have repurchased this 2 times already and will keep going back for more! I also really love the new, sleek and stylish packaging.

Wonder product
5Was unsure at first when I saw the wand inside this mascara tube - it is not the familiar type, more of a stick with tiny, tiny bristles rather than the lavish bulk I am used to. Having said that, this new style of applicator is simply fantastic and makes the job much easier and less messy. All in all, this is a wonderful waterproof mascara which hands down beats all the others out there, including the so called "beauty award winners". Have bought this item in bulk in case Boots No7 ever decide to change it (which I sincerely hope that they do not).

Not waterproof at all!
1I recently bought this solely because it claims to be waterproof and comes in brown/black which not many waterproof mascaras do. It is not waterproof. The mascara all comes off when showering. The Boots Intense Volume waterproof mascara is the same.

i love it!
5i love this mascara, it does everything a mascara should do! and the little bristles on the end make application to lower lashes a breeze! I've bought it time and time again and its still the best mascara i used, ever!

good brush, no clumping, but is Not Waterproof!
3I bought this in brown/black, which I find a good warm brown, a softer look than black, which I think doesn't suit older eyes - too harsh looking. The 'brush' is plastic and mascara is easy to apply, without clumping or getting on my eyelids. Good for lengthening, but it doesn't do much for volume. Also, after a shortish while (2 months) it has started to go a bit flaky. Finally, it is definitely Not Waterproof. If you swim with this on, it will come off. Instead use the excellent Max Factor Aqua Lash - definitely completely waterproof, you can swim with your face in the water for hours - however it only comes in black. (This is why I tried the Boots one).

For a subtle look
4I use this mascara when I want the look of I'm barely wearing make up, but don't want my eyes to look incredibly small and tired. I've gone through 2 of these mascaras and I have never had clumps in my eyelashes, however it doesn't provide a lot of volume. Therefore I use the mascara above another one to then allow me the use of the waterproof trait. It's not a bad mascara but I wouldnt wear it alone when going out for the night.

Disappointing
1Very disappointed with this product - probably the worst waterproof mascara I have used so far. On application full of clumps and also flaked off during the day and is DEFINITELY not waterproof

Horrible
1I am always on the lookout for a good waterproof mascara as I tend to get a lot of smudging, and I am always at the gym/pool. I don't understand how others can say this doesn't smudge in contact with water, because it is the WORST mascara I have ever used! I bought it and used it this week and had it on in the gym. It started smudging on my eyelids straight away, and when I got in the pool it crumbled off my lashes and I had black bits all over my face. When I tried to wipe it away with my hand, it smudged everywhere meaning I had to get out the pool and take it all off. I honestly have never tried a less waterproof mascara - non waterproof ones have lasted better than this! do not buy this if you need to wear it in the gym or pool or on holiday - it gives ok definition but is not waterproof at all!

Best Waterproof mascara
5I have tried a few other brands and In my opinion this is THE best waterproof mascara, i won't go on holiday without it. I actually prefer it to the non waterproof version to use on a daily basis, as it has a slightly thicker consistancy. It goes on perfectly, with no clogging, makes my lashes long & thick and lasts all day! It is super waterproof too!! I have used it in the sea and pool, and it has never let me down..i haven't even seen a speck under my eye! it also comes off very easy with eye makeup remover. I will definitely buy again...infact.. it is in my basket now :D

not waterproof enough
2I am really disappointed with this mascara. I ended up looking like a panda just 2 hours after applying, it doesn't even seem to be sweatproof, never mind going in the sea. A cheaper mascara worked much better.
