Worked wonders for me

I'm now in my early 40s and my skin is responding with open pores, uneven skin tone and redness on my nose and cheeks. I also have melasma on top of both cheekbones. I bought this after doing some internet research and I was dubious as other primers just don't cut it. I have never used colour correcting before so the green colour was a little scary for me but it blended in perfectly. It was very easy to apply. Nice and creamy texture and didn't leave me feeling like a film was on the surface of my skin. I let it absorb then looked in the mirror. The effect was pretty much instantaneous. My skintone was evened out and most importantly, the redness was calmed a lot. Yes, I could still see some but this is a primer not a concealer. I was so impressed that in future I will be happy just popping some of this on and going out knowing that the redness isn't as prominent. I then applied some make up and I was more than happy. No open pores could be seen and my lines were less pronounced. The melasma is very difficult to cover but I did notice it looked a little blurred after using the primer. Overall, I'm very happy and will purchase again in future.

Very thin and disappointing

I love no7 products, but so disappointed in this primer, it's so thin and doesn't do much at all, unfortunately a waste of money for me and wouldn't recommend.

This is a great product if, like me, you have thread veins or (slight) rosacea. This primer doesn't make them disappear, but it definitely tones them down and evens out skin tone.

Good product

This is a great primer that keeps my makeup lasting all day and night. The colour balancing works to make any redness in your skin tone more even, preventing redness from showing through foundation however it doesn't reduce or remove redness just covers. It has a good coverage though and definitely evens the skin tone out.

Works wonders

I use this daily, my makeup always stays in place and this corrects the redness on my face perfectly. Leaving my completion looking better than ever. I have suffered with redness for such a long time and haven’t found another correcting primer like it.

Dissapointed

Bought recently. Disappears into skin without much effect in toning down redness sadly.

Incredibly effective product

I never write reviews but this product truly helped me, so I want to share it with others who may have the same problem as me. I turned forty only recently; I don't smoke, drink only rarely and look after my skin quite well, but due to my busy and stressful work I don't always get the sleep I need and often my skin looks tired and I have dark circles under my eyes. I’ve tried so many different foundations but none of them do all I need: I need my skin to look natural, as if I wore no foundation, healthy (no dark circles or red patches) and I need this to be long wearing and also non-sticky. (I forgot to mention that I wear glasses so don’t like when product gets on them, an this one keep my foundation on my skin not on my glasses‘ frames) And all of this is what this primer does! (To my great surprise). It is utterly amazing so Boots thank you for it and never stop making it!

Even better than ever

Have used No 7 green corrective fluid since my teens, that's over 40 years ago - gulp! Shopped in store to renew my supply (can't live without it - have red cheeks (rosacea)! A new change to the Airbush Away Colour Balancing Primer. What a fabulous product! Moistureriser first, then this exquisite product. Easier to put on than the original! Covers evenly, doesn't come off when you apply your foundation. Lasts all day. What more can I say? Just buy it, you won't regret it.

Bruising coverage

I got a black eye from a golfing accident. I work in hospitality so I needed to cover the damage. I bought this as a present for my mother and decided to use it. I would apply some of this to the area and let it dry. Then I would apply a small amount of foundation. Red lipstick was next to cancel out the green Hue under my skin. Another layer of light foundation and set it with transluscent powder. It worked a gem, didn't crack or rub away and covered the bruise so well that people didn't notice the bad shiner. Just a small bit of swelling. Would recommend! Wear responsibley though

No need for foundation!

I love it, I wanted to stop using foundation so started looking around for a good primer to balance out some redness around my nose and cheeks. This does a great job of balancing the skin tone as well as making it feel smooth and lightweight. I use it after moisturising, and then use Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot translucent powder as I have very shiny skin. To combat spots and dark undereye areas I use a dab of Collection’s Lasting Perfection concealer. With foundation I used to have to re-apply my makeup halfway through the day due to greasy skin, now I just use blotting paper and some powder when needed. Never thought I’d go without foundation, it’s so liberating to not have to any more!
