This is the first time I've tried No 7 nail varnish, and I'm a bit disappointed . The colour (Temptress) is great, but it's quite thin and not easy to apply, and definitely needs two coats. Staying power is good, but I think I'll be sticking to other tried and tested brands in future.

I can't believe the negative things some people are saying about these nail varnishes! I am absolutely addicted to them. I discovered them a few weeks ago and already own five. The thick brush means you only need a few strokes on each nail. One coat would do but two is perfect. the finish is really glossy and shiny and it lasts really well. The range of colours is fabulous. I have been recommending these to all my friends and I will continue to build on my collection!!:D

Love these nail polishes-have 3 or 4.but all bought with the £5 off.Definitely wouldn't pay £7 as they last no langer than a few days before chipping, but excellent for £2!I adore the colours!Very pigmented:D

I got one of these nail polishs for my birthday a long time ago yet the texture of the nail polish hasn't become all liquidy like most nail polishes. the colour is really great and lasts quite a while too.

I love the new colours in this range, everytime I looked at the NO7 nail colours I was dissapointed they never added new one's until now. I bought the orange one "Tangy". the colour is exactly the same as in the bottle, which is great. The only thing I dislike is the new brush because it is an odd shape, the formula seems ok though I think I prefer the fact the polish is slightly thicker, you just have to be quite quick in applying it or it can dry sort of streaky, but a little clear top coat sorts that out.

I bought stay perfect nail polish in lucky lilac and was very disappointed. The polish was hard to apply as on some nails it dried before I was able to finish putting the coat on and even on nails where this didn't happen it dried with streaks in it. This isn't so noticeable for toenails which are further away but looked really really scruffy on fingernails! It was a nice colour if you ignored the streaks! I didn't particularly like the new brush either as it seems to drip more than the old brushes and did not seem to make the application any easier. I have bought lots of No7 nail varnishes in the past (at a guess I must have at least 15 bottles at the moment) and these have been great so I was expecting the same this time. It's a shame as there are some lovely new colours I was tempted to get at the moment but this has put me off!

The new brush is great. Its fatter and shorter so it's much easier and gives a nice finish. The new formula, unfortunately, isn't so great! The coverage isn't as good as the original but the colours are lush. I had to apply 3 coats but it did look great!! I would recommend this product because its good value for money compared to most brands. Overall a good product.

Tried one of these new nail varnishes, Lucky Lilac. The colour is new and lovely, the brush is much more improved and the application is much easier. However, these new varnishes are meant to stay chip-free for at least 5 days (as informed by a No7 consultant). Sadly only lasted an hour, and rapidly grew worse. A shame, as No7 varnishes before were very good. So I would say great if you struggle to apply varnish, as the brush has been greatly improved, however if you need something to last, this probably isn't the product you want.

This is a reformulation of the original Stay Perfect nail polishes. They've ditched the long, thin brush and opted for a shorter, thicker brush which fans out to cover more surface area, meaning that only three or four strokes are needed to paint each nail entirely. They've also added new ingredients to make the colours rich, vibrant and, more importantly, long wearing. Those of you acquainted with the original formulation will know that it chipped easily and didn't last anywhere near up to five days, making it an expensive and disappointing purchase. But with an exciting and contemporary range of colours, a shorter brush and better formulation, these polishes are definitely worth £7. I'm wearing Jammy right now and it definitely feels much stronger than the original formulation, and the colour payoff is superb. A real winner from No 7. Let's hope they start reformulating their foundations to be just as impressive.

The colours are really nice and good quality when you put them on. Although I put the colour 'pillar box' on and it was all good until I removed it and it stained my nails and my fingers I still haven't got it off. Also the price is expensive for a nail varnish. I got it with my £5 no7 voucher I wouldn't pay £7 for them though.
