Superb colour and high shine

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been reading some of the reviews for this product and am stunned at the negative comments. The new formula and brush are excellent, definately on a par with Nails Inc, OPI and Leighton Denny. In fact I have recently purchased the "Sing The Blues", the depth of colour and shine are top quality, it has not chipped in 3 days unlike Leighton Denny which chips instantly. This colour is identical to LD Ink Jet but a fraction of the price when you use the £5 voucher.

Pricey.

I bought the nail varnish in 'Highland Mist', i was really excited about it as it was the colour i was looking for. Also, i got it for only £2 because i had a voucher, but i don't think i would have bought it was full price. It is easy-ish to apply however for £7 worth of nail varnish, i would have expected better results. I have bought cheaper nail varnish before and only had to apply one coat, which is what i expected from No7, however the colour is patchy and the texture is watery. One thing i was pleased about is that it dries quickly. Overall i'm not going to bother buying any more nail varnish from No7, too expensive for the results you get.

Great colour but needed so many coats to achieve it

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I normally buy cheap nail polish but loved this colour so splashed out. It took 4 coats to achieve the colour density whereas my usual cheapie only takes 2 and I struggled to get into the "corners" of my toes! (Someone else put that the brush was badly designed, I can't comment on that but it certainly was hard to apply!) And it chipped on first outting - lucky I only wear clear on my fingers! Sorry No 7 - I won't be buying again, I'll just stick to skincare

I looooooooove the coulor 'Totally Teal' but i dont think its worth £7. Its takes at least 3 coats to get pretty much opaque...

Very Disappointed

Firstly I bought the colour Damson Dream as the colour was a perfect match for a wedding outfit. It said New Brush and Formulation on a blue sticker. Unfortunately I think this is most probably one of the worse nail varnishes I have ever had to apply (and I have applied a few in my 54 years) the brush seemed to take to much varnish and slide into the sides and the cuticle of the nail, but trying to get less on the brush didn't work either as it went streaky. Please can you go back to the old formula and brush please. Lovely colour though.

Good application

I bought this nail polish in the colour called Foxglove. The brush helped to give me a nice smooth application and was really easy to put on. I did not have to apply more than one layer and it looked matte when on. I have only had the nail polish on for one day but still has not chipped. However I would not recommend for the price because I would rather buy other cheap nailpolishes and apply more than one coat but I bought this with a voucher so only cost £2.

Always great

I have always been a fan of the no 7 range and even though these nail varnishes are expensive when not on offer they're still good quality. Depending on the range (speed dry, stay perfect, etc) multiple applications may be necessary but the colours are vibrant and with top coat can last 4 days.

The name "stay perfect" is a joke!! Product comes off/ chips away so so quickly is unbelivable!! Lasts less than 24hrs. Do not have a shower/bath as they will just peel off. Such a shame as colour range and brush are fab!!

Absolute rubbish

This nail varnish is very thin, gives very poor coverage and is not at all glossy. The only positive is that it dries very quickly. Not worth buying at all.
