Chipped on second day. Wondering if I should invest in a base coat and a top coat? Considered taking this back to the shop.

I got this for Christmas and it’s already horribly gloopy and unusable. And when I’ve use it before it peels off really easily after a day or two

I brought the gel finish polish in rose gold. Applied with a no7 base coat and gel top coat. ALthough the colour is nice the finish looks cheap, nothing like a gel varnish. After one days wear it has already started chip. I wouldn't waste my money on this again.

I have never used a more useless nail product. It wears off even when not using my hands for anything other than wielding my cutlery at dinner after applying it. I will never buy it again.

First time I have used this & won't be using again!! Just 4 hours after painting my nails they are already chipping, very disappointed!

I prefer dark nail polishes to light ones and decided to look at this range of nail polishes. I noticed the dark mulberry shade and purchased that. It has a lovely glossy finish and does not chip or peel straight away. I apply two coats because one was not enough. I used a none gel clear polish as the base coat and used it again at the end of applying colour. Two coats of clear polish used as the finishing touch. I have used gel clear polishes and found them to chip or peel

I brought 2 different colours and few days ago costing £14 and have tried both. Within 8 hours it had either peeled or chipped off. I have had better quality in a £1 nail Polish. The majority of the reviews are the same so why is it still being sold. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money. Dreadful product.

I bought this in Khaki Gold at the weekend - gorgeous colour! Within an hour of having applied, it was chipping off. Base coat, 2 of colour & a top coat - really disappointed, this isn't a cheap product either. I've used this range before & had the same problem but had hoped that the product had improved.

I have always used no7 nail polish; easy to apply with a good finish so I though I'd try the gel finish polish. Unfortunately this product was really thick and clumpy and was difficult to apply leaving a very uneven and ''streaky' finish which was very disappointing. Luckily I bought it when it was on offer so didn't pay full price.

I have been buying and using the shade Pink Mocha for a few years now. I love the natural colour of this shade. However, to get the ‘Gel look’ and avoid the varnish chipping I do find I have to do 2-3 layers. Also I love how fast this nail varnish dries.
