This nail varnish is absolutely awful. I generally get on really well with no. 7 but will not be using any of their nail varnishes in the future as this chips without warning and when I am not doing anything particularly rough with my hands, I have no idea what some of the other reviewers did in order to succeed with this polish but I have applied a Sally Hanson, two layers of the polish finished with two coats of Sally Hanson top coat and it didn't survive the night without chipping. The colour (Pillarbox) is nice and I will use the polish but I may have to add a gel top coat to stop it chipping so often. I'd be miffed if I paid full price for this product. Avoid.

I am a reflexologist so have to keep my nails very short. I like to wear polish so they look nice. Using this polish with a base coat and the Gel Finish top coat I find I can get about 6 days without chipping. It's easy to apply, and dries quickly. I now have three colours and will be adding more.

Was bought in no7 big glitter box at Christmas. Thought I'd give it a go but normally get nails done professionally as always chips. Four days until first chip!! So pleased. Thick so takes a while to dry. I've noticed on others reviews regarding chipping easily, majority of these people used a base and top coat, I never, just the nail varnish so maybe worth a try on it's own?

Bought this nail polish as in the bottle it appears red, was very disappointed when I used the product and it is a very dark purple- almost black.

O purchased this yesterday put 2 coats over top coat and today found this peeling off Total waste of money

This nail polish is absolutely shocking it is the crappiest product in the world and i beg you not to buy it It clumps and as soon as you put it on it streaks and it looks so tacky The colour is nice in the pot but you can't see it when it is on your nails because of all the clumps and streaks It is a waste of money and after you have taken the product off your nails they feel very ruff and dry This nail varnish is a shocking product

The Gel Shine Top Coat is amazing, cannot recommend it enough! Does exactly what it says on the tin, gives any nail polish a beautiful Shellac-type finish, increases the staying power and also blends and smudges or chips perfectly.

This nail polish is lovely & looks fab with just 2 coats, it doesn`t chip & keeps its shine for well over a week! Got 5 of them now & intend to buy more, the colours are all gorgeous. Thanks No 7!!!!

I LOVE the amount of shine with this nail polish, makes the red even more vibrant. The brush is really wide which makes application really neat and even. Lasts well, will definitely buy more colours

I like this nail varnish. Easy to apply, dries quickly. Still perfect, no chips or wear after 6 days.However, the Golden Sands colour needs two coats to achieve an acceptable colour. Also with this shade it seems to contain small lumps when applying. I do not know if the other shades need two coats but this is a personal preference. Don't think it looks any different to other varnishes but a nice range of colours and wears very well. This would also depend on lifestyle. Being a housewife my hands are continually in water etc so my nails do suffer but not with this varnish.
