Yes the mascara stays on but it is a very ordinary finish that it gives your lashes. But as for getting it off i just hav'nt got that much time or that much money to be running the tap to get enough hot water. In the long run a chanel mascara would work out a bargain compared to this and give you a much better finish. I was gentle with the warm cotton wool but still managed to lose lashes taking the mascara off. I took mine back. When will i stop believing the hype!

I find this mascara easy to apply, and it does a very good job of defining, separating & lengthening the lashes with no clumping, which is so important when you're in a hurry! Also, my lashes look blacker & glossier than they seem to with other mascaras I've used. While discussing this mascara with customers at work, I've had several compliments on how nice my eyelashes look. I can't really comment on its claims to being waterproof, as I don't swim, and I haven't wept recently! However, it's very easy to remove with warm water, doesn't involve pulling or tugging at the lashes, and comes off cleanly with no "panda eye" effect.

I had high hopes for this mascara - thinking it would be similar to the clinique version but this is the worst mascara ever - really awful - not able to build any volume without clumps at all - good job it comes off easily - it needs to !

Not really happy with this mascara - found it hard to remove and exchanged it for my regular No 7 Extreme Length Extend

Have always been a fan of No 7 mascara however this mascara is awful. I really wanted to like it but it is difficult to apply and clumps easily. Lashes dry hard so they look spidery and not natural. No volume whatsoever.

Bought this mascara because of all the claims it made. You can only put one coat on. Any more and your lashes get clumped together with a very plasticky type substance. Which makes your eye lids very heavy. It does come on in clumps not a nice look. A nightmare to get off be careful it doesn't take your eyelashes off. It would be good for the beach but only put one coat on. It definitely doesn't add volume.

Recently returned to No7 products having strayed (with dreadful results). Thought I would try this new mascara as it seems to good to be true. Really pleased, easy to apply, nice natural finish, and really does come off with cotton wool and warm water (no smudging - it just flakes away). One of my new favourites. PS - if you like 'dark smokey eyes' with lots of mascara then this probably isn't for you as it does give a very simply, pretty, natural finish

I bought this on the in store offer so I did not pay full price. I have very teeny eyelashes, and very sensitive eyes so I am always looking for the perfect mascara! I bought the black colour. The small brush works really well at getting to those little lashes. The product goes on well but I found I could only add about 2 coats or it clogs, but 2 coats is about enough for quite a full yet natural lash look. It stays well and does not smudge or smear even after 12 hours. That’s very impressive! The real joy is when you take it off, warm water softens it and it just detaches in eyelash-shaped little tubes (sort of). No fuss, no panda eyes the next day, no eye make-up remover vision blur and stinging. Fab product, thank you!

Agree that is stays on perfect and does not smudge, but takes a lot longer than my other mascaras to remove and I felt as though I was pulling eyelashes out trying to get the mascara off. Doubt I shall purchase again.

I chose this product as an impulse buy and its horrid, i have long lashes anyway but wanted to extend them but they made it clumpy and hard to take off. DO NOT BUY, wasted money
