I never normally write reviews but after today I felt I had to. I spent two hours white water rafting which involved a lot of fast flowing water in my face and me rubbing my eyes several times and my mascara did not budge! It really is life proof! My other friends all had panda eyes! I originally bought it for holiday rather than getting a waterproof mascara as they never seem to give you as much length or volume. This mascara is better than any waterproof mascara and great for holidays! Really quick to apply too and easy enough to get off when you want it to come off! Only negative thing I’d say is if you want a more glam look for evening this isn’t the one for you!

I've been using this mascara now for about a year since Clinique stopped making their tube formula mascara in brown and this is just as good. I can only use tube formula mascaras as I have watery eyes and everything else is halfway down my face by lunchtime! Doesn't give a huge amount of volume but is great for length and definition :)

The mascara itself went on fine and I was happy with the look and appearance. However, after using for 2 days I noticed that my lashes were considerably shorter than they were before and many are now missing. I’m discussed in this product and the damage it has caused to my lashes- very disappointing boots!!

I just bought this but have had real difficulty getting it off at night. I’ve lost so many lashes trying to remove it. It doesn’t smudge and does stay on in the day but I can’t carry on with it as I’ll have no lashes left to put it on!

Can’t rate this highly enough. If you hve always suffered from mascara shadow, even from waterproof mascaras then this is the holy grail. It might not suit you if you like to layer & build, as it is not possible with this. Although I have used a lash vuilding mascara & put this over the top of it for a fuller look.

I’ve bought this product repeatedly- even after scouring the mascara market for a reasonably priced good quality mascara. I’ve purchased ‘luxury’ brands previously- YSL, Lancôme, but this defines lashes, coats every lash - even smaller corner lashes- nicely without clumping, due to a really user friendly wand.

I've had thing for a looong while and came on the website to buy another and thought I'd leave a review. I don't know if anyone else is like me but I have different mascaras for different things. I love the baby roll but even the non-waterproof is very difficult to get off, leaving panda eyes for a day or two after. I got the stay perfect mascara way before and I've just ran out now. I use the baby roll for nights out or special occasions because my lashes look longer and fuller, coating more lashes. However, the stay perfect is still fantastic for an every day mascara compared to others. I use it for: - Rainy days when I think my face might get wet - work days where I'll be busy (in a hospital) and can't be checking my face all day - hot days when sweat from my cheeks would melt other mascaras every time I blinked It's good because: - It looks good. The lashes are slightly more clumped together than with other mascaras but that might be the look you're going for anyway, it's a wide awake look but not a spider eye dramatic look. Anyway, it's worth a go. - It really does stay on. I come away from the day looking fresh (ish). No smudges at all. No gaps. Very occasionally (usually when I rub my eyes accidentally) little bits of he mascara might come off. But there tiny and because of what the stuff is made of its like a plasticky substance so you can just gently brush it off with your fingers. - it's easy to get off. It's a bit more difficult with makeup remover or a makeup wipe. Occasionally you might get the odd lash come off too if you use this method as you might tug a bit if you're impatient. If you make sure it's damp though then it comes off quite easily. The best way to get it off is to wash my face in hot water and use a flannel to gently wipe my eyes repeatedly, the little fibres just slide right off easily then.

I don’t know why so many people find this mascara difficult to remove. I fill the sink with warm water and use one cotton pad. I suggest don’t wipe like the video- just close you eye and pinch and massage your lashes and the mascara will be instantly removed. The first time I used this I freaked out because I thought it had removed my lashes but realised it was just the way the formula comes off. I’ve tried much more expensive brands but always end up with flakes under my eyes with regular mascara or very irritated skin with waterproof. With this one I feel I get the best of both worlds. It dries quickly so you have to work fast if you like to layer your mascara. The wand does not fan out your lashes like a volumising mascara but it does lengthen well and I was pleased with the results. Don’t knock it til you try it!

Instore they rate this mascara as fab and highlight that it’s so easy to remove, no need for makeup remover or wipes, just water and cotton wool. I found the best way to take it off was in the shower but it felt like you were pulling your eyelashes out and leaves a horrible mess in the sink! As for using your usual face wipes or makeup remover, you’ve no chance of keeping all of your eyelashes in tact. I also found it gives quite a clumpy look rather than a nice fluffy lash look. However it does add good length with layers but then lashes stick together. Not for me unfortunately!

Would like to complain! I bought this on recommendation from No.7 assistant for it's tear proof properties and staying power. From that point of view it works, however removing it was hopeless as it went into flaky bits and I noticed that it had taken the ends of my lashes off too - I am really upset and annoyed, I hope this hasn't permanently caused damage. I will be getting a refund. Any advice No. 7 for reconditioning my lashes?
