Worst mascara ever. Hard to apply: can only do one coat before all your lashes clump and stick together. And then it's impossible to take off without pulling all your eyelashes out. I have had to stop using it after a few days as soon I won't have any left at all. The lashes just come off with the product, as it's so hard to get off. And hardly cheap either. Don't do it!

One word - Fab-U-lous I love mascaras - I have long lashes but they're straight so unless I curl them and add mascara they are practically invisible. But unfortunately I work long hours and after about 8 hours my normal mascara has smudged under my eyes. I also wear contract lenses so need something gentle but long wearing... This actually meets that criteria. I apply it at 6:30 in the morning and by 8pm I have NO smudges, NO flaking and NO irritation! It really does last all day long. I don't even need to add any primer or waterproof cover to keep it in place. It holds the curl pretty well too after using an eyelash curler. My only (very minor) complaint is that I have found it difficult to remove. I have tried warm water (as recommended on the box) but find waterproof mascara remover works the best. It must contain fibres to make it so strong so it doesn't just wipe off but sort of flakes off. If you wear contacts like me make sure you remove them before trying to take this mascara off or you might end up with little particles in your eye! However that is the price for longevity. It is still five stars to me and I use it every day without needing to keep eye makeup remover pads on standby! Well done No.7

This mascara is different to any one I've ever tried (which runs in to double figures) and I am so impressed. I was concerned that it wouldn't give my lashes enough oomph and would be just a 'daytime' mascara however I popped on a couple of coats and was satisfied with the result. It really thickened and lengthened my lashes. It really is flake proof and smudge proof and I put it to the test by watching Four Weddings and it is tear proof! (Not telling if it was tears of laughter or emotion) To really test it I also went to bed with it still on and amazingly my lashes still looked good in the morning, no panda eyes! I couldn't quite understand how it worked and decided to remove it in the shower by gently massaging my eyes and then the secret was revealed! It came off in little plastic like tubes. The great bonus of this is that because my lashes were incased instead of coated, when the plastic tubes came off my lashes felt so soft and undamaged. Usually when I use mascara when I remove it my lashes still feel brittle and damaged and I also find that when wearing it I get flaking, clumping and general panda eyes! I also wear contact lenses and it did not cause any sensitivity. I would highly recommend this mascara.

I love this product. It defines my lashes and coating and making them appear long and luscious. Highly recommended.

Great product! I'm from am oriental background so my lashes are short and kinda point down-wards. I used to get "panda eyes" when using other mascaras in the past. Some water-prove ones were a bit better but still flaked a little. BUT, this product solves all my problems - no panda eyes, no worries when I rub my eyes by accident, and comes off 100% when I wash my face after work. good price with the No7 voucher.

Having been wearing tubing mascara a for a few years now it's great that No7 have dipped their toes into this type of mascara. I have tried them all, Blinc, Clinique lash power, Loreal's (although this was terrible) and more recently Mirenesse (an Auzzie brand). No7 really have got it right with this one, it coats evenly with a good build, last more than 24 hours without flaking and comes off cleanly. Finally I have found my mascara - thank you!

I find this mascara easy to apply, and it does a very good job of defining, separating & lengthening the lashes with no clumping, which is so important when you're in a hurry! Also, my lashes look blacker & glossier than they seem to with other mascaras I've used. While discussing this mascara with customers at work, I've had several compliments on how nice my eyelashes look. I can't really comment on its claims to being waterproof, as I don't swim, and I haven't wept recently! However, it's very easy to remove with warm water, doesn't involve pulling or tugging at the lashes, and comes off cleanly with no "panda eye" effect.

I bought this on the in store offer so I did not pay full price. I have very teeny eyelashes, and very sensitive eyes so I am always looking for the perfect mascara! I bought the black colour. The small brush works really well at getting to those little lashes. The product goes on well but I found I could only add about 2 coats or it clogs, but 2 coats is about enough for quite a full yet natural lash look. It stays well and does not smudge or smear even after 12 hours. That’s very impressive! The real joy is when you take it off, warm water softens it and it just detaches in eyelash-shaped little tubes (sort of). No fuss, no panda eyes the next day, no eye make-up remover vision blur and stinging. Fab product, thank you!

Along with dozens of others, this easy to apply mascara seems to do the job but is quick thick to apply (perhaps just when new?) and you have to be quick putting it on or it goes on far too thick! The worse thing about it is taking it off! Whether using a warm-watered cotton wool pad, as suggested by No.7, or using a wipe, the mascara comes off in great clumps, like rolled up, dry mascara and goes into the inside of your eye, very uncomfortable! It does, however, stay on all day! (and night! if you don't take it off completely, which can take ages!!)

I was sceptical as to whether this product would actually do all of the things that the description claims but I decided to give it a go anyway & I'm so so glad I did. This mascara is the only one I have ever found that will not move (including typical waterproof ones) it lasts me through a 8 hour shift and recently survived me re-watching 'the notebook' without giving me panda eyes! Unlike other waterproof mascaras there is no need for any fancy make-up removers just a wet cotton pad held on the lashes and then wiped will remove the mascara and it comes off in little tubes. Definitely definitely worth a try!
