I like many things about this lipstick but one thing it is not, is moisturising, which is it's made USP. I like the packaging, the design of the lipstick shape and the colour itself (Plum Beautiful) but everytime I have worn this, it comes off my lips and leaves them feeling dry, which I hate. On that basis I would not purchase this type again.

Review for Boots No 7 Moisture Drench lipstick . Colour No 290 Raspberry Truffle. Nice case with good fitting lid. Feels great on application, it's not at all greasy, and has a nice Matt finish. I love the colour and would wear it for both daytime and evenings. It stayed on well even after eating and drinking. I would not hesitate in recommending this product.

Doesn't leave lips feeling dry, fairly well lasting - would need reapplying after food but other than that lasts pretty well :)

Such a shame this lipstick will no longer be available - I have worn it for years - even on my wedding day, please reconsider Mr Boots!

If this colour is actually supposed to show a beautiful shade of plum, then an orange has the same colour as a kiwi fruit. Seriously, it's definitely advisable to choose the right colour in shop, because the colours shown on the website don't match the "live" originals at all. As far as I'm concerned, I'd say that buying online is far too risky - in particular if one cannot return the item. Apart from that, regarding the effective care, I would recommend these lipsticks nevertheless.

I have bought many many different lipsticks over the years, but have never been fully satisfied with the colour or texture. However, I purchased this no 7 lipstick in pink lemonade yesterday and am absolutely thrilled! It keeps my lips fully moisturised and the colour is absolutely perfect on me. I would fully recommend this colour to anyone with blonde hair and fair skin tones. Please never stop making this lipstick in pink lemonade, as I will never purchase another lipstick other than this again!

I've been using your No.7 Plum Beautiful for years and I love it. I also used to use the Plum Beautiful nail varnish, but for some silly reason, you stopped producing it and I haven't found another one that I like as much. Also, I found choosing the colours confusing, as you use numbers, rather than colour choices.

This is my go- to lipstick! I have pale skin but quite pigmented lips so i have this in a red colour which looks like my lip colour but better! The colour is '60 Chic' . Which i dont think is available on the website but 'Chic' is but it looks very different to the colour i have. Although my colour might not be available i'd expect all the lipsticks have the same formula and colour payoff which is great! It looks beautiful on and doesn't sit in lines and its so moisturising! The lasting power is just like any other average lipstick and since its a moisturising lipstick it wont last as long as a stain or a lipstick which is drying but it does last a good couple of hours! For £9 the price is pretty steep but its an excellent lipstick which is just as good as some high end ones and boots always has coupons off No7 which is a bonus!

These are good 'everyday' lipsticks, with an excellent selection of colours and good staying power, although I think you would need a lip balm as well; they are not as moisturising as premium beauty range lipsticks. Cheap enough to have a few on the go, for different outfits and moods.

I am totally obsessssed with the shade range for these amazing lipsticks! My daily go to is the shade Caramel Silk and I will continue to make this my staple lipstick until I can’t buy it anymore! The formula is so luscious and cream, so pigmented and resilient. Doesn’t need much if any reapplication. My favourite lipstick ever and I will always recommend this to anybody looking for a great lipstick!!!
