Bring back Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

What a dreadful upgrade this is. A very oily synthetic cleanser that has left my skin feeling odd. I switched to the Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser after using Liz Earle for many years. Now Boots owns Liz Earle they seemed to have upped the look and price of the No7 range either to compete with their own brand or to add more profits as this new version has very similar colour packaging and price tag. The £3 price rise and the smaller muslin cloth is another let down. I will be returning this product and be on the hunt for a Hot Cloth Cleanser that doesn’t react with my sensitive acne prone skin. Bring back the original Beautiful Skin!

As a long time user of another brand LE, i had the opportunity to use the new revitalising hot cloth cleanser. i am so impressed with this, luv the texture and it has not reacted on my skin, i look forward to taking of my makeup at the end of the day! maybe it has not reacted well on others but on my skin, i cant cleanse enough with this. pleasureable experience, Would definitely recommend.

Horrible breakouts

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

This particular hot cloth cleanser is so awful. Have used it for around a week and it has left me with such dry skin particularly around my mouth area. I’ve now got tiny little bumps all over my skin and awful breakouts! Reading the reviews I don’t think I’m the only one that has had this problem either... will not use again unfortunately.

Bring back the old version!

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

When I found out that the previous hot cloth cleanser was being discontinued I was gutted so managed to get a tiny sample of the new one to try out at home. I really don’t like this new version, it’s really greasy and a weird texture compared to the old version. It broke me out and I have had a horrible break out for days because of it. I really wouldn’t recommend this, there are various ingredients added which I don’t like and I just really hope that they bring back the old hot cloth cleanser, it was cheaper, so much more nourishing and didn’t break me out! So please boots, bring the old one back because I will no be buying this!

Very impressed

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I used to use No7 products from age 13 -30’s. I left this range when they discontinued the Super Hydrating Fluid and the AHA Cleanser. Since then I have used nothing but high end products and more recently Elemis. I decided to re-visit No7 this week since noticing new formulations within their cleansers and toners. I’m now 45 and I’m so impressed with this cleanser and the revitalising skin tonic on my sensitive/ Combination/oily/dehydrated skin . I’m hard pressed to find a cleanser and toner that doesn’t leave my skin dry and irritated. This works for me and I’m saving a lot of money too. Thanks No7!

Not impressed

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I went to buy my usual no7 Beautiful Skin hot cloth cleanser only to be told it had been replaced by this new version. Fitrstly I wasn’t impressed it now costs £13.00 instead of £10.00. That’s a huge increase!! So here’s my verdict, It doesn’t smell the same, it feel greasy on application and makes my skin feel horribly tight afterwards. I don’t understand why manufacturers change products and tamper with things when they are great before hand?? I am contemplating taking it back for a refund I’m so annoyed about it

Disappointing

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Having run out of the original hot cloth cleanser, I was advised that this product was a superior replacement. Whilst the texture of the cleanser is just as lovely, unfortunately I have been left with very red, blotchy skin on my cheeks and an outbreak of spots on my chin, none of which I experienced with the original product. I have continued to use it for a few days as I thought maybe there would be some adjustment to new ingredients but it has continued to irritate my skin. I feel really disappointed that I cannot use the regime of cleanser, serum and moisturiser that I was. Such a shame it was changed!!

Not as good as the basic beautiful skin hot cloth

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was open minded when staff explained that this was replacing the beautiful skin hot cloth cleanser but have been left so disappointed. This is heavily fragranced (a perfume like smell which isn't pleasant) and heavily emolient. It's left me with skin breakouts and just isn't as enjoyable to use. Please bring back the original! It wasn't broken, why fix it?

Great cleanser with a tiny cloth!

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I recently switched from the Boots beautiful skin hot cloth cleanser to this & found the cleanser to be great, however Boots have practically halved the size of the cloth. So much so that I struggle to wash with it. The cleanser smells lovely & cleans thoroughly but bring back the old cloth & stop cutting corners!

Disappointing

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I went into my local store to buy the No7 Beautiful Skin Hot cloth cleanser but was advised that the Radiant cleanser was now replacing it and it was to be great with new ingredients. I bought it and have now used it for 3 days. Sadly I won't be using it again. Each time it's used my face goes blotchy, have 3 very sore spots under the skin at my mouth and forehead, have a burning sensation under my eyes. Its definitely more creamy in texture and has a stronger fragrance than the beautiful skin cleanser. I changed from Liz earle cleanse and polish to this just last year and was really impressed that I'd had no reaction and my skin looked great. Looks like it's back to c&p for now unless I can get the beautiful skin cleanser somewhere.
