Ive bought this in the past and not been very impressed. However my mum swears by it so I decided to give it another try and have used it avidly twice and day and it has very slightly lightened my age spots after 6 weeks. But the difference to my nails is huge, they have grown long without flaking or splitting and seem much stronger. I will keep using this although I dont really like the smell or the texture of it.

My main concern was age spots. After just 2 weeks of daily and nightly use the age spots have faded greatly. I will continue to use this cream as it it so nourishing, absorbes nicely and the general condition on my hands and nails has improved.

Another favourite from the Protect and Perfect range. I tried lots of hand creams in the past and this one remains my preferred hand treatment because of the smoothing effect and easy absorbency

This cream is great ! It goes well with my perfumes...it s just perfect during the day....but I would love a really rich, reparing cream from Protect and Perfect !! This light cream is fabulous but not during the night !! I would love along with my serum and night Protect and Perfect cream ...a proper night cream for my sensitive,prone to dryness hands !!

I always suffer from dry hands in the winter and this cold winter has made them even worse. If you put this cream on at night your hands will be much softer in the morning and the effect is cumulative that is to say the more regularly you use it the better your hands

SPF and UVA protection in a hand cream is hard to find yet so important if you want to keep your hands looking young. Here it is! I'm made up. This cream is absorbed beautifully. I have suffered with dermatitis on my hands since becoming a mum but this clears it up after 2 applications throughout the day. Much prefer to use this than a steroid cream on it.

A surprisingly good hand cream. Absorbs quickly, leaving hands soft, and even a nice scent to it. Worth the price, as little needed, and helps dry skin feel good again.

Received a sample tube when purchasing No.7 make-up a couple of years ago. I had a 'seb wart' on my hand for years and after a few of weeks using this cream, it dried up and fell off. I was recently diagnosed with a 'seb wart' on my back, used the cream morning and night and once again for a week and I could feel it dry up, after a fortnight it had fallen off. So apart from being a brilliant hand cream, for me, it has been more than just that. Don't know what you put in this cream Boots, but it's been fantastic for me, as these warts are quite unpleasant to the touch and to look at, so thank you very much, well worth the price.

This was my first try of No 7's hand cream and I have been really pleased with its soft scent, but most of all its effects. It makes my hands feel well moisturised, but an additional bonus (actually why I bought it) was the fact it has some sunscreen in it - vital for middle-aged or older hands which are always exposed to the sun.

I love No 7, especially the Protect and Perfect range. So I was hugely disappointed by this hand cream. It leaves my hands oily and shiny, and doesn't work in easily. I had to wipe it all off again so that I could get on with my work without making everything oily. I tried again, using just a very little on the backs of my hands, but they didn't feel soft and a few hours later just felt dry again. I wouldn't buy it again. Now I use a tiny dab of Protect and Perfect Intense serum on the backs of my hands, then use a little Boots expert dry skin concentrated hand and nail cream. I don't know why Boots don't just rebrand that as No 7. The serum lifts the wrinkles out of my hands and the cream lasts for ages, even through hand-washing. I'm using the rest of this P&P Intense hand cream on my feet after a shower, just to use it up as it's so expensive.
