Ok, so the smell has changed in addition to the packaging. I've persevered and the new scent does grow on you..... BUT, it now smells like a cheap synthetic-y product, certainly not the soft warm luxury scent I've been used to. I'll no longer be buying this as my indulgent shower gel - the posh "spoiling myself" feeling is now gone. Its just not worth the premium price any more, it isn't worthy of being a premium product. Doesn't look the part, doesn't smell the part. Boots what have you done? Surely No7 is a big enough brand to have two scents in its range....the original one we all want back, and this new bargain basement scent you could run alongside it? Worth a try surely?

I loved the old no 7. The new look packaging looks nice and fresh but the smell of the product is less desirable. Can't describe the smell but it's just not one I'd go back and buy

Really unimpressed with this one. Smells disgusting, although very moisturising on my skin. Fragrance overhaul would give this an easy 4.....

I always use no. 7 different product they always given good value for money but not happy with this time. Smell not so great it's not worth spending money on it .

Having used alot of No7 products and found them all to be good or great, I was looking forward to trying this wash. However I was very disappointed, the smell is the first thing I noticed and its really not nice at all. Its got a funny almost citrus smell but not a nice one. The product lathered up well, although did sting a little when used on legs that had been shaved, and that's not something I have experienced with body wash previously. The packaging doesn't really sell the item, its not something that if I saw I would straight away reach to buy. Just the scent alone which did not leave me smelling nice, to the point I washed with another shower gel after was enough to put me off using again.

Why did you change what was your best product No7?? This was my favourite body wash which was the best I had ever used on my dry skin. I bought this thinking only the packaging had changed. If only I had read the reviews first! Overpriced garbage. Please bring back the old product!

I too have used this body wash in its previous form, but I totally agree with the other comments, it really does smell dreadful !! PLEASE Boots admit you got it wrong and bring back the much loved previous version. Thanking you in anticipation.

Most AWFUL smelling body wash. This smells so cheap and nasty I would father wash with washing up liquid it smells better. You really need to sort this out no7 totally disappointed.

As a huge fan of no7 indulgent bathing, i have many items of the products especially when 3 for 2 or £5 off. The old Blissful body wash i loved especially combined with spray and butter. THEN.... went to buy some wash, awful zesty packaging and an awful smell, couldnt believe it. Looks cheap, smells awful and is now not an indulgent bathing product. Bring back the old i say. The packaging is not consistent with no7 at all and stick out like a sore thumb. Now looking for a new product .

Have been buying No7 products for years, and loved your body wash. However I'm now disappointed with this. I thought the packaging had been updated, not the actual product. It doesn't smell very nice at all whilst using it and it doesn't leave a nice after smell either. It smells very cheap and unpleasant. Certainly not worth the price. Gutted that you've changed what was my favourite body wash. I looked forward to getting your gift sets every christmas, but this year I'll be asking my partner not to buy. You've ruined a perfect product, please bring back the original, there was nothing wrong with it.
