I got this as a free gift and was pleasantly surprised!! It goes on easily, lovely colour and stays put all day. I have had no problems sharpening it.

I have two of these and have only used them a couple of times. I sharpened both yesterday with a good quality sharpener and the ends kept breaking. Attempted again but to no avail., Then the whole middle (coloured part of liner) came out of the casing - on both pencils. Will be returning to store for refund.

This is the second pencil I've bought in the no 7 range and I'm impressed with the easy application. I chose the deep green and it is such a rich colour and it lasted all day. What more do you want?

The eyeliner is quite creamy and therefore easier to apply than others I've tried, but it doesn't really suit me because I like to apply kohl on my tight-line and this easily smudges/transfers after only a few hours. I think it would be good for application on the eyelid, but if you are looking for a pencil with good lasting power then this is not for you.

The brown colour is great, darker than a normal brown but softer than a harsh black, it goes on smoothly, smudges nicely if you want that effect, comes off with normal eye make up remover BUT once you need to sharpen it you will lose so much of the pencil that the wastage makes it almost as expensive as the high end branded products....

Lasts all day, great colour and well worth the money!

this was easy to apply with a good result. However, once it needed sharpening it proved to be impossible. The wood is very hard and the liner soft so the point kept breaking off. I tried putting it in the freezer and three different sharpeners but it is now three quarters the size and still not usable. Has anyone any ideas before I throw it away? very disappointed as I liked it before this happened

The reasons I have always bought this pencil are - 1. The staying power 2. The colour 3. The precision 4. Little sponge tip attached to the pencil When the Boots assistant informed me that the product had changed and was now softer, I was sceptical. For me, the product was spot on as it was and softer to me means less staying power. However, I thought I would give it a go - unfortunately, this pencil does not work for me at all now. This product does not resemble the previous one and is now more of a khol/kajal pencil. 1. The consistency is different - has little staying power 2. The colour Brown now appears darker, more of a black, possibly due to it being more gel like. 3. The precision is also not as good because it is softer. 4. Lastly the lovely useful little sponge has gone. I am not sure if the other reviews are about the new or the old product. Please, please bring back the old product even if you have to call it something else. I have already purchased other pencils but they do not match the quality of this pencil (in it's old form) and I will carry on using my little stub in the vain hope that there are other negative reviews and that maybe you will take notice and bring back the Stay Perfect, Amazing Eyes Pencil that for me completely lived up to it's name.

This is an amazing eye pencil. To me it is a mix of a more traditional eye pencil and a liquid eye liner. However, if lasts much longer than a pencil but as a pencil is easier to apply than a liquid eyeliner. I have used both extensively over the years as I have very pale lashes and even when they are tinted eye liner is a must for me. This pencil claims to last about 12 hours and I agree with this claim. Recently I went to a spa day with girlfriends and had forgotten not to put eyeliner on in the morning. Even after steam rooms and saunas it had stayed put and only very lightly smudged. It has a good pigment as well as lasting a long time (I don't have overly oily skin so it may not last as long on some people). I am so impressed I will be buying my own when it becomes a stub and have recommended it to friends (the only down side is it can be a little tricky to sharpen at times but that may be down to my sharpener which I need to replace).

I love this product, goes on easily, doesn't smudge, stays on all day, BUT as another reviewer commented, the mechanism at the bottom of the pencil doesn't work, this is the third one I have had ( two replacements ), so once the tip has worn down, it only lasts about 2 weeks ! I am going to take this one back, but if the replacement doesn't work, I will have to buy another brand.
