This is the worst pencil ever. Why have you changed it. The old one with the rubber on the end was great easy to sharpen. I have tried with a boots sharpener and still it breaks.

Excellent product when new, however as per below unable to sharpen which is disappointing really as you are throwing away majority of the product.

Bought this in green and had high hopes for it as I always use stay perfect lipstick. It is soft and goes on well at first but is very hard to sharpen and you end up losing a lot of the pencil this way. Didn't last long. Will be going back to cheaper brand

I’m so glad I bought this when it was on offer and not bought it at full price, was ok when first used, nice colour and went on easily but then I had to sharpen it. Like most of the other reviewsi found it impossible to sharpen it seems to be made fromplasticand when you feel like you’re getting somewhere the end breaks off, it’s now just fit for the bin

I have just started using it and it's wonderful. Stays on all day (even after a gym session at lunch time). No smudges and vivid colour. I haven't sharpended it yet but so far I love it! Absolutely nothing less than the big brands and much more affordable.

Very disappointed with this eyeliner. Does not last all day. Each time I have applied to the top eyelash line, by the end of the day it was smudged on under eye area.

I first bought it about a month ago and loved how it stayed put on my eyes. No smudges and lasted a whole day. BUT the problem started when I needed to sharpen it. It broke off and left sharp edges which scratched my eyes. Try to shapen it again, broke of yet again. Seriously, the colour is great (black) but why is it so darn hard to sharpen?! It made me go off it sadly and had to buy another brand wich wasnt as good, but at least it didnt leave me with tears flowing after yet another bloody scratch.

Hasn't lasted very long as it doesn't sharpen properly. Wood casing very harsh and I scratched my eyelid several times. The actual liner doesn't sharpen to point, it just forms a large blob and breaks off, so I have to sharpen it again. The pencil fits neither a standard sharpener nor a large one. No doubt I was expected to buy a No7 one at extra expense, which would make it a very expensive eyeliner. Also, it doesn't stay on lid , even though I have stopped using any cream on my eyes in the day. Haven't had to do that with other liners. Very poor standard- I expected much much better of No 7!

I bought this eyeliner after my regular one was out of stock. I won't buy it again! The bit you apply to your lid is so soft and creamy, that it is like trying to sharpen butter, even when it has been in the freezer overnight. The casing is too hard, making sharpening even more tricky, and appears to be plastic (less environmentally friendly than wood). I did buy a new eyeliner sharpener, which made the job slightly easier, but the eyeliner actually wears off really quickly, even when the weather is not particularly hot, so needs frequent reapplication. A big waste of money in my opinion.

Iceberg tried 3 different sharpeners and had no luck. No thanks only doesn't the pencil break numerous time so totally wasting good eye liner but also impossible to sharpen to a good point. Never had any problems with any other eye liner. So if no7 believe you have to use a specific sharpener they should make this very clear to the buyers at the time if purchasing
