I purchased this & I’m really pleased it, goes on really well & stays on all day

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and the liner appears to be dried up. I have to press it hard on my hand to get any liner out. It's then difficult to transfer. The tip is quite hard so pressing it close to my eye is not recommended as it slides and risks serious harm to my eye. After a while I can get more liner out if I use the tip sideways but this creates a thick, difficult to control line. Insufficient product testing has been done Boots!

I got this as a free gift and was pleasantly surprised!! It goes on easily, lovely colour and stays put all day. I have had no problems sharpening it.

Good points - high colour pigment start to finish. Goes on so smoothly, no dragging on eyelid at all. Gives eyes super definition. Pencil is easy to sharpen, the outer layer doesnt split or snap when being sharpened. Bad points - too soft, pencil has to be sharpened nearly every time it is used. Not suitable for bold eyeliner, product doesnt dry so ends up on the top of eye sockets if done too thick. Smudges - doesn't stay in place very well and ends up under the eyes even if not put there. I have naturally oily skin so used to some pencils not lasting. However after years of trying I've sorted my skin and make up lasts well. Was very surprised that this smudged so much, it wasn't even a hot day so definitely wouldn't recommend for the summer. It doesn't stay in place very well and altogether I'm quite disappointed in this product. It seems too moist and oily so doesnt stick around. I wouldn't buy again.

I have sensitive skin and since I was a teenager have always used No 7 with no problems. However, over the past year I have bought 2 new eyeliners and they make my eyes stream. Have you changed the ingredients? I'm afraid after 30 years of loyalty I'm having to look for different manufacturers make up as I can't wear yours.

After every application, I had to sharpen the eye liner. Today, when using it newly sharpened, the end disappeared and I scratched my eyelid. Consequently, I disposed of it. I am really disappointed with this product and would not recommend it.

Is this actually an eye pencil, or an ordinary colouring pencil?! Picked up the dark blue on a whim with a £3 off voucher. It worked OK on my hand - where you can put pressure on it. As others have said - no colour comes off unless you really scrub away at your eyelid! And the smudge end hurt too, unless it was because my eyelids were already painful. And I couldn't get it in the right place anyway. Took it back for a refund this morning. Will not buy again!

I have purchased over the years loads of eyeliners, this one is the worst, tried to apply, no colour. Checked the reviews on here, could not believe everyone was having the same problem. So today returned to Boots and exchanged it for a lipstick

I have used No7 for years and have always been happy with the value and quality of products. This eye pencil is simply not worth the money. No colour comes off it. I have sharpened and re-sharpened the tip in case it was just the initial tip. I am always wary of applying too much pressure to my eyes but even if I were willing to run it up and down like a biro running out of ink, there would still be no colour. I really need some assurance that the problem has been solved before I will buy this again.

Stay Perfect eye line used to be my best eye liner ever. I have recommended this product to so many people, as it was such a great eye liner at a great price too! Since you have changed the formula it is now the worst eye liner out there! I can't understand why No7 can't see the mistake they have made and change it back to the old formula! Now I am buying every eye liner out there with in the same price bracket , to find one to replace what used to be ..the best ever eye liner !
