Love No 7 Protect and Perfect - not this product!
This product is not fit for purpose. I paid extra for Number 7 quality and the stick did not pump up and then stuck to the lid of the stick. I took it on holiday to protect my young children and it’s was useless. The sultan stick worked far better than this - very disappointed. (I do use the Protect and Perfect Sun CreaM 50 which is great).

Great for face
I suffer with dark sun patches around my upper lip area which I hate. I managed to keep them under control for 10 days in Greece, with temperatures around 32 degrees daily. Eventually the dark patches did resurface, however I was confident that this helped me to hold them back for a while, whilst using it very generously every hour at least.

Great under eyes before makeup
I’ve started using this instead of eye cream under my makeup. It works just as well and has the benefit of spf protection! Love that it’s just the glide of the stick so no messy fingers

Brilliant for sailors
This small stick has lasted me through three months of sailing around Greece, I purchased it after my second surgery to remove small bbc close to my eyes and nose. Combination of daily use with hat and sunglasses is highly recommended. I will definitely obtain another stick for next summer!

Disappointing
What a good idea, a sun stick with 50 SPF that one can carry in one’s handbag for emergency touch ups. Sadly the product became mushy within a day or two of leaving in said handbag. Admittedly the weather was hot but this is a sun stick afterall and should be able to stand up to high temperatures. The product slipped into the top of the container thereby not able to be used with the twist up base. I managed to remove it with a knife and pushed it back into the base and cooled it in the fridge. It can still be used by applying with your finger but sort of defeats the object of having a lipstick type applicator. Not sure I would purchase again.

Brilliant for winter & summer son
I first bought this when looking for a stick offering spf 50, 5* UVA protection to take on a skiing holiday (I have areas of hyperpigmentation so the UVA aspect was v important); this is brilliant – it applies smoothly ‘hands free’, does not leave any white residue and moisturises nicely without your face feeling it’s coated in heavy product, or looking super shiny. I thought it might be a bit much for my combination skin but it just meant my skin did not dry out in the sun & wind whilst on the slopes. I’d bought a ‘snow sport specific’ lotion to apply before setting out for the day, intending to use this to top up whilst out & about, but by day 3 all of the family were using this instead – it’s really quick to put on (great for kids); we didn’t even get through 1 stick during our week away though we reapplied frequently, so it’s great value for money. No one got sun or wind burn (I have 2x 6 year old boys with fair skin) and I saw no darkening in my existing pigmentation. I now have 1 in the car, 1 in the bathroom & 1 in my bag.
