Boots.com review I was nervous using this blusher as many ivevtried before seem cakey over the top of my foundation but this one is not like that at all. I only needed to apply a small amount with my fingers then blend with a brush. Because it has a powder like substance when applied there was no clumping or cakey feel to it. I also used it for a wedding and it lasted all day with no need for reapplication so I was very pleased. I'd definitely recommend.

Boots.com review 'No7 Velvet Cloud Cream To Powder Blush' is a small, cute blusher that reminds me of a Polly Pocket! I have fair-medium skin and received the shade 'rose dream', which gives me a bright and healthy look. I was initially nervous about trying a cream to powder blush, but it was easy to apply with my fingers and blend out with a brush. The cream blush turns to powder and lasts for several hours on my skin. Despite the small size of this blusher, I only need a tiny amount, so it should last me a long time. I recommend this blusher and plan to purchase other shades for my makeup collection.

Boots.com review DISCLAIMER: I am a No7 advisor so I may be a bit biased, but I really do love this blush. The packaging is gorgeous, and has a little mirror in the compact. I have the shade ‘Mauve Cloud’ and it does not look nearly as dark on myself as on the website. You can build it up as much as you like, and I do love the liquid to powder aspect of this. The fact it sets down to powder means that it does not disrupt your foundation and make it go patchy like some liquid blushes can. Only two things I would say about it is that it’s difficult to apply with fingers due to how it sets to powder on your fingers, a blush brush is definitely the way to go in my opinion. I also would try and pop into store to look at the testers before you buy, I don’t think the colours on the pictures online accurately represent the product shades. However, I would absolutely recommend giving this one a try.

Boots.com review I tested this in the Rose Dream colour which, although it looks very bright in the compact, is a really beautiful colour on the cheeks. The pigment is light but that works very well for my fair skin, especially as it seems to be quite buildable. I've been applying it with a brush and did notice that it went a bit patchy a couple times and picked up some of my foundation underneath, and so I'm keen to play around with applying it with fingers or a sponge. My only issue is that the compact is made from a very shiny plastic which feels quite slippery and like it might easily slip out of my hands while trying to open it. It's quite light-weight plastic too and so looks like it would break easily if I did drop it too! Just doesn't feel that ergonomically designed. The pan also rattles a bit as I dip my brush in which makes the packaging feel cheap. A shame because it looks really beautiful in terms of the design of the compact itself!
