Stay Perfect Base Coat 10ml

I always have my nails painted and as result they can sometimes be a bit worse for wear. I used the No7 base coat that was before this one, 'protect and strengthen' I think it was. So I was a bit disappointed when I went to repurchase and it wasn't there. However I was assured that this product was basically the same so I bought it. I am very happy with it, it does exactly what it says it will. My nails can be flaky sometimes due to nail polish remover and this base coat really counteracts that. My nails are in great condition and I don't experience as much, if any, flakiness anymore. I also have had no yellowing of my nails and it goes on really smoothly, as well as dries very quickly.

Was disappointed when I found they had stopped selling 'so strong' nail varnish, but customer advisor told me the base coat was a replacement. It's just as good as so strong, stops my nails staining and keeps them healthy and strong, and believe me when I say my nails are weak, they don't normally grow. A very happy customer here :o)

I never used a base coat before, but make-up websites insist it's a good idea so I bought this. Unfortunately, I found that nail polishes that always stayed put before now start flaking off after only a day, plus it doesn't seem to protect from staining by dark shades, so I'm not sure what the point is. Also you can see in the picture that the brush doesn't go down to the bottom of the jar so it is really difficult to use it all up - after trying to tip the jar at various angles I think the product is just drying on the inside and is no longer coating evenly, so I am going to have to throw it away having not used it up - what a waste. Won't be buying again.

Quite simply. I love this product! It's made a huge difference to the staying power of my varnish. Awesome stuff and no staining even with really dark heavy colours. My new must have product!!

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a good quality base coat which prevents stains and strengthens nails, but I think that what sets it apart from other base coats is how easily and smoothly it goes on. I don't know if it's just because of the broad, flat brush or if it's to do with the actual formula of the fluid, but it never leave's bubbles or streaks or anything like that. I've even used it as a top coat with great success

I would be lost without this product! I change my nail colour every week and it has taken me years to find a decent, long lasting base coat. No7 have made a brilliant product! Fantastic quality, great price and very easy application. It stops my nails from breaking, keeps the top coat on for longer and stops my nails from staining. Ten out of ten. Well done No7!

Only lasts me 3 days max, then completely off on upper half of nails

I never wore base coat, and my nails suffered. I used this and the condition of my nails has really improved.
