Boots.com review: The texture of this is gel-like with a pleasant smell. It absorbs very quickly and feels light on the skin, but as someone with very dry and dehydrated skin, I found this just didn't provide enough hydration for me, leaving my skin feeling a little tight and thirsty. If you have oily to normal skin this might work well for you though. I do find the jar a bit cumbersome to use, having to dip a finger in with less control over the amount of product collected than a pump, but it is attractive and looks nice sat on a dresser.

Boots.com review: This product has a lovely texture and leaves skin feeling very hydrated. I found it best to apply the cream in plenty of time before make up to allow for the full effects of the gel on the skin. Have recommended to friends and family.

Boots.com review: No7's Hydraluminious Hydrating Day Gel is a new (2023) day cream which is said to 'hydrate, protect and fresh for healthier looking skin'. The cream contains Hydraulic acid. The cream comes in a 50ml pot which is of good quality and has a nice simple yet classic design. The packaging colour is blue and the cream itself is clear. The directions are to 'apply to cleansed, dry skin in the morning. Smooth and massage onto face and neck using an upward motion with your fingertips'. Upon opening the pot, my first impressions is how watery the cream is. It is clear in colour and cool to the touch. My skin is very dry and the consistency of the cream instantly absorbs into my skin. To me the consistency and cream feels a lot like a serum as its quite watery and thin. It feels fresh on the skin and hydrating. It is not deeply richly moisturising, I could use it as a serum and put another cream on top but my skin is very, very dry. It would be a lovely light cream for the summer. My criticism of this cream is that although its a day cream it doesn't contain SPF. You could easily apply this over an SPF but I personally feel that day creams should include the spf as standard. I am writing this review in January 2024, however, I still try and use SPF throughout the year to help with pigmentation. I think for the price this is a very good gel hydrating cream. Boots.com review: I’ve been using this a few weeks. The product is very watery so you don’t need to use too much. It sank into my skin straight away. I don’t feel like it moisturised my skin as well as other products I’ve used but may use again as a back up.
