Boots.com review: I have pale skin and have been using Calico for years now. It left my face looking dewy, which is hard for ANY pale foundation due to the lighter pigments. I was incredibly upset with my new bottle last week to find that they have changed the formula and it has also fallen to the powdery side. My face is left matte and dry now. I’ll no longer be purchasing this.

Boots.com review: This foundation was the perfect mix for me, went on easy with round brush just add a little at a time. My skin looks great and it feels soft to touch and didn’t clog my pores. Will definitely re purchase. Lady I’m the store helped me colour match to cameo just prefect.

Boots.com review: I am just about to buy my second bottle of this. I was helped to choose in store by lovely staff in April. I use this foundation most days to cover pigmentation and scarring and it has lasted almost 6 months. Fabulous value for money!

Boots.com review: I have oily skin but don’t like a matte finish and this is just lovely on my skin. It has a nice glow but not shiny on my oily skin. I would say it is an everyday foundation. The No7 assistant matched me to Sahara and it matches my light skin perfectly. I added setting powder to ensure it stays in place.

Boots.com review: I bought this after they changed the beautifully matte original formula. Loved the original beautifully matte but the new version just didn’t work for me. After spending so much money on other brands - even bought Estée Lauder double wear! None of them worked - too thick and too drying. I decided to try this after my mother in law suggested it. I won’t go back! At first it wasn’t up to my expectation cos I’m so used to full coverage and matte formulas but being 37 and getting drier skin I thought it’s time to close the door to matte formulas. Hello satin and dewy! This feels like a second skin and didn’t come off all day, even whilst walking the dog, steam ironing and a hot bath. It’s Easily built to a good medium coverage by layering it. Looks so radiant on the skin even in full sunshine.

Boots.com review: Since EL discontinued my favourite foundation I have been looking for a replacement - I must have tried nearly 100 foundations so far & written a review for each one! I tried Stay Perfect expecting very little. In fact I was sure I had tried it a few years ago & I didn't like it, so I was just ruling it out. Instead I found that Stay Perfect is now as close to my old discontinued EL foundation as I could get. NO, it is not as good. But there again it's less than half the price! I see other reviewers who have used this product for years are less than happy, but if you're already happy with a product of course you are going to feel let down if the formula's changed. Personally I didn't use or like it before, so I'm trying out this new formula from an unbiased perspective - and I think it's great. I found that it goes on well without sitting in pores. With all the shades available, you can get a good colour match. It does highlight lines a little bit.... I noticed my age (mid-50s) more when I looked in the mirror, so I think it does make me look slightly older (whereas my high end 'discontinued' foundation had the reverse effect on application). On the plus side the Stay Perfect felt OK on my face - not heavy & oily like some foundations do. My face didn’t look shiny when I put it on. This is a common feature of No7 foundations, but this foundation went on not too shiny & not too dry. Also, it seemed to ‘settle down’ after a few hours, and after a day of wear my skin still looked fine! Not patchy at all, still no build up in pores or shiny nose, and my skin didn't feel 'dirty'. This is pretty impressive for such a reasonably priced foundation. As for that line, “it’s only the packaging that’s changed”, this is such a Boots cliché that I think the staff are told to say it! Perhaps because if the customer is told the product’s not changed, they’ll go ahead and buy it!

Boots.com review: I like using no7 stay perfect foundation as the colour is as close as it gets to my natural skin and it gives an even coverage.

Boots.com review: This foundation is light, gives perfect coverage & is lasting. A lovely foundation & the only one I’ve ever found that is a perfect match to my very fair skin! So many different shades to choose from & it’s often in a 3 for 2 offer too!
