Sun protection for the face is so important, UVA rays from the sun are now known to be aging, causing wrinkles, pigmentation, sun spots etc Using Sunscreen daily is vital to take care of your skin and is main playing in fighting the signs of aging. I've been using this product for over a month now and as a sun protector it seems to work great. As a BB tinted cream it's mediocre.. I bought the Fair and the tint is subtle on my skin, which isn't too bad for day to day if you don't want to wear makeup but to cover blemishes/redness etc which this barely does, you will need to use concealer. It takes quite a bit of blending in to get it even, otherwise it can be streaky and settle into pores leaving that lovely orange peel look..not attractive. After blending it is a little tacky so I always add a little powder on top to mattify and even out my skin tone a bit more. I sits pretty well under foundation with no balling up. I don't particularly like the scent but it goes away quickly. As for the age defying properties, who knows... I wish they hadn't stopped making Boots Soltan BB Face 50 with anti aging complex, at half the price it gave better coverage, blended well.. as well as great sun protection. I used it daily and miss it :(.... To use this product daily works out quite expensive, as unlike a normal anti aging serum or cream you have to use much more of the product to get the full sun protection, so a tube of this doesn't last long. All in all, if you can afford it, don't mind spending time to apply the product smoothly and only want a light sheer tint on your skin, then this is for you. What's important for me is a good high 40/50spf tinted face sunscreen that is affordable, that I can use every day to protect my skin. So for me, I will be looking for an alternative that's a little cheaper on my pocket.

I have very dry skin due my age (hormonal changes) plus Retinol and Obagi treatments. I must protect my skin with a very high UV product and I found this AMAZING cream. If you have oily skin I don't recommend it. For combination skin my advice is to use setting powder or your favourite product on top of you "T" zone, if you have dry and flaky skin, go for it!!!

I've been using this every day for over a year now. It provides great coverage - my foundation is obsolete now - and is obviously good for your skin too! Lasts all day with no problems, prevented me from burning during our 50 degree holiday on Egypt last year, and lasts through a gym workout. I will agree with other reviews here however, in that I have to buy a 'fair' and I am by no means fair skinned. So I can understand that it's probably quite frustrating for a fairer skinned person.

I have dark spots which come out with just a bit of sun and this product really helps to keep them at bay. Also, as another person wrote/ the secret is to apply it 15 min before anything else on top. I like the fact that is tinted- unless the regular factor 50 cream- I know where and how much I used. It gives me arealky natural look- covers all redness and small blemishes/ smooths enlarge pores- really like this product. The problem is that only sometimes I can get this cream at my local boots- so online is the only way to get this.

I bought this product as I like to wear a tinted moisturiser/ light foundation over my sunblock, which is a problem when you come to reapply your sunblock! This product completely does the job of both! It evens out my skin tone whilst making it look really healthy and glowy, without the shine. I was using Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue over my sunblock, but this product it just as good!! Love it

I dont understand the negative reviews, I love this product and will always go back to it. It's not greasy, it gives ultimate protection while moisturizing the skin.

I bought bb 30 fair few days ago and i love it my skin looks fresh and moisterised with a slight tint. I find it is quite light I could wear foundation on top. It is an all in one product it saves time and money!

I bought this for holidays, and am incredibly disappointed. It was thick and irritating, and I couldn't wait to wash it off. It was like an oil slick - it stayed like a shiny layer on my skin. The thought of reapplying as detailed on the bottle was not an option! I've tried a really thin layer, which means you probably don't get the SPF, but it's still horrible on my skin. I felt like I wanted to scratch it off it was so irritating. I'll be heading back to boots to get a refund on this - paying nearly £15 for this was a complete waste of money

Really disappointed in this product! It is 2-3 shades darker than I would consider to be fair. The actual ingredients and feel of it on your skin is good, just a shame I looked like Madge from Benidorm.
