I have quite a few colours from the range but personally love the Blue Patent for a sophisticated and shiny look, plus the the Daisy Darling is also great when applied over another pink colour for a pink glitter effect. The varnish is easy to apply however despite using base and top coat I still find the colour chips quite easily after a day or two; so I'd recommend this product to those who don't mind a touch-up every other day or so.

One of the worst nail polishes I have used. The colour is beautiful and rich (I had firecracker which has a subtle glitter effect) and seems to go on smoothly with great coverage. But it chips and flakes SO easily. It started to do so after only a couple of hours - and this was over Christmas, when I was doing minimal housework or typing; normally my nails last so well under these circumstances. This seems like a cheap polish, such a shame as I loved the colour. Will try again with a strong topcoat, but for the price I expected better.

This is great nail polish to use as a topcoat to brighten up any other polish and make it lovely and sparkly. You can wear it on its own but it makes any normal polish that bit different. Great for the party season its like your nails have a touch of frosting

Pros: The brush makes it easier to apply polish. It's thin, so although you need a couple coats, it means it doesn't chip as fast as others. The colours are beautiful! Dries fast. Cons: Would be more difficult to apply for those not professional, due to the thin-ness of the product. Also, you wouldn't get away with not wearing a top coat. And where's "Sunset"!!

I love the range of colours in the no7 nail varnish range. I have found that its easy to apply and I'm able to get an even coating. I tend to put two layers on each nail and from this have found the colours are rich and gives a nice finish. They have lasted a few days to a week before chips start to show.

They have a brilliant choice of colours, I have two one of the nail varnishes in the old packaging and one in the new, they appear really nice when first put on and they go on nicely too but I noticed they started chipping in only a day or two.

Was encouraged to get the black colour for a Halloween costume, having never used one before i was advised that it would be quite easy to use, applied the base, colour and top coat. It wasn't the easiest thing to apply, looked good on, but found it chipped and came off so easily, glad i don;t have the performance of wearing it :-)

I was quite surprised to find this getting such a low average rating. I have a large collection of colours from this range as I often buy them with the £5 off No7 vouchers. I have never enjoyed applying nail colours over the years. I have often thought of them as a waste of time, literally! However, two coats of this product and it's usually completely dry within 40 minutes. Forget all these promises of 60 seconds, most take a good hour to become hardened off. The colours are often very bright and vibrant with a high shine. As well as this, it applies very smoothly, spreading out nice and evenly. A very slight downside is that the brush doesn't reach much beyond halfway down the bottle. As for the chip factor, I have put this to the ultimate test! I am a male to female transsexual and decided to go full time as a woman to wear this in the sawmills that I work at. OK, that's an exaggeration, I was changing gender anyway, but I have worn this all week (with gloves on) whilst handling lumps of timber and it hardly chips at all. 7 days wear is achievable and still looking lovely and glossy at the end of it.

I own quite a few of these varnishes in various shades and have found that some of the shades are really good and others really aren't. I'm not sure whether the formula of these varnishes does actually vary according to shade but it definitely feels that way to me. For example, I own one in a dark purple (I think it's called 'Blackberry' or something) which I quite like. Long lasting, lovely finish and the application was average. I recently purchased 'Oyster' and I LOVE it. It last even longer, the formula was brilliant and the finish was perfect. However, I also own 'Salsa' which, although it is a lovely shade, chips after a matter of hours and goes on terribly (it's extremely watery). Also, in terms of value, I don't feel that they are worth anything near £7 and make a point to only buy them if I have one of the No 7 vouchers. Overall, they are quite nice nail varnishes but it's definitely worth looking into each shade individually as I swear the formulation varies.

I absolutely love these, I got the colour Totally Teal and I was amazed. First, the color is gorgeous and it's one of my favourite colours, second it stays on forever! And finally, it doesn't look cheap it feels high quality. I also got it with a voucher for £5 off No7 so I got it for 2 quid! Bargain.
